I'm local to folly farm and I'm so glad to hear so many people liking this place. It used to be a basic small dairy farm and they have expanded over the years. I go there a few times every year, and I can just laze around enjoying myself. Part of my life now :) :) Please go if you have the chance. :)
hi great vlog as per usual, me and him was just talking about how these vintage parks seem to be the new in thing and we see your vlog wow, i think a lot of the younger folk never got to experience these fairground rides as our generation did and are enjoying them all over again. brill ps we remember the big whip at blackpool thats how vintage we are .
The vintage fair looks amazing Andy! I love the skid rides, used to be one on the travelling fairs in east Anglia in the 80s. I remember going on it as a kid. Enjoyed the vlog as always!

This Speedway was owned for decades by Billy Crow and Sons, and was built for the Coronation Of King George V in 1937. It was a legendary machine, that travelled mostly in the North East Of England, & was sold in 1978. I worked upon this machine, and it's motorbikes horses, and safety bars were all finished in Rich Chrome. This machine was also reputed to be the fastest ever made having only 3 hills. Nice to see it's in preservation, but only running at a FRACTION of the speed it used to go! P.s. next time you ride it.. Sit on the OUTSIDE- it's much much faster!

Cheers for another vlog & new place for possible future visit. Watched Theme Park Worldwide's video before this and obviously saw yourself & Lisa in the video and then saw your video in the suggestion next to the video comments. So thought I would also watch your version aswell. Really good video, really enjoyed. Got a lot of variety of vintage rides at this place, rides I have never seen before. Love vintage & historical rides. Would love to see a fairground a.k.a vintage fairground at a steam railway in Kent called K&ESR / Kent and East Sussex Railway as be a bit different & think it would 100% fit into the railway aswell into the modern landscape. Thought it was the same ghost train as current Dreamland, but wasn't. This one had more space for loading and unloading, one at Margate really compacted & not really that good tbh. But cheers for another amazing vlog. Really enjoyed and look forward to seeing more in future. Cheers. 😀👍
@@Coaster_Crazy, Defo bigger than Dreamland and honestly found Dreamland is version not that good. Even my friend said the same thing, it was rubbish, could do better. You should take a visit to the Great Dorset Steam Fair. It's a HUGE event, with both vintage and modern fairground stuff (as well as loads of other things). It's like a temporary city that turns up for just a few days each year. Seeing the fairground area at night, when it's all lit up, is something special.
Many people camp there, or bring caravans and such like. I've only been for one day, but that's not the only option. But, yeah, it can be a trek to get to.

Yeah the Ghost Train at Folly Farm is a little bit bigger but not much

GbHandlebar Dorset is a bit out of our way unfortunately to do a day trip but we will be going down that area soon
