@@scottl5028 thanks, I used the remainder of the mix at home in a non stick pan no bother, but the trangia is still awesome, it had been a while since I'd used it and forgot about what it's capable of ha, thanks for watching and commenting, Cheers Chris
Hello Chris... We love you! Your cook may not have gone as planned, but you carried on with your unsinkable spirit! Next time, a winner! 😁 Bilberry porridge sounds delightful! 😋👌
Ha ha thanks, many of my cooks don't go to plan😂 it's all part of the experience, I've made bilberry porridge before and it was really nice, I just love the fresh wild food straight to the pot, many thanks again.
@@bencrichton2436 ha, yes I think so to, I'll try cook out there one of these days, wonder if there's wild food in the loch, I think it's a coastal one
Ha ha well good luck, be interested to see how you got on. I used the rest of the mix at home on a non stick pan and it worked fine! Thanks for watching and commenting, Cheers Chris
Thanks Gregor, I didn't even read the label but seemingly might of had to of added milk instead of water, I assumed it had milk powder😊Ill be back out...with the cast iron
Oh dear, what a mess! I often use this bottle of pancake-powder, but i fill it with milk, not water. No cows around? ;-) And: use a non-sticking pan. Keep trying, you can do it! The environment is great!
Thanks Marcus, I didn't even read the instructions😂. It quite possibly would've said add milk, I assumed it had milk powder and could be very wrong. The non stick didn't help, better luck next time😎There were cows nearby, but they are my friends so I left them alone😁
😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣 yeah those aluminium pans aren't very good for the non stick, that pan i used in my last video is the anodised version, still not 100% non stick but a lot better
Hello from Latvia. Oh no. 😢 We still like your videos. That's Life.🇱🇻🇱🇻🇱🇻
@@lindagirdvaine93 ha ha thanks, hopefully my cook is coming home from holidays soon😎, I've been promised pancakes!
Hello from the USA 🇺🇸... My favorite canned Sardines come from your beautiful country!
Be Well & Be Safe! 💗🤗💗
Brilliant!
Thank you
Fair play for putting it up.
The pancake mix is actually ok. But you probably already know you need a non stick pan .. love my trangia kit.

Been spoiling us of late Chris. I was away to Plockton on holiday for a week, so I got to binge your videos last night!
@@bencrichton2436 thanks Ben, plockton is a lovely place, been there twice and should like to go back, dodgy road in though😅

I have the same set up, but the duosall pans. I was going to make pancakes tomorrow morning. Glad I watched your video now lol

Ah no luck there but worth a shot. Reckon the mix was probably partly to blame there, it was very pale. Cheers Chris.

Haha good on ya Chris 😂 sometimes I somehow manage to get similar results in my own kitchen (usually too much faith in old non stick pans)
Thanks mate, not the finest cook lol, better luck next time! Defo the pan was at fault here and not the cook😎

Heh heh, yes I think that pan has a lot to answer for! I'm going to try cast iron, better luck. it worked at home when I tried it on a non stick pan😁😎
Oh no but steel a good show thanks
