A trigger forces them into Teams which come with a Script to change their House for that "early" MC-thing that doesn't happen to Tanya. Engineers have no VeteranAbilities or EliteAbilities defined, so they receive no veterancy bonuses TL;DR Airdropped units spawning from the same Plane have the same Veterancy.

I've played this game since it came out, I've played Mental Omega and I've played the flipped missions.... not one damn time did I know you could cap the Mayan towers in vanilla RA2 and use them like in the flipped missions lol
Great run! I think the most entertaining (and most frustrating) thing about this challenge is all the strategy you need to deal with all the janky scripting. I'm surprised you were able to save so many people in Free Gateway; I always just let them die.
This game was my childhood man I can tell you put a lot of thought into these videos. See if you can ping Bryan Vahey I'd love to see his reaction to this
16:12 - keep in mind that a Dolphin's sonar attack will damage ANY unit along its path (or at least it did last time i checked; granted, that was in Yuri's Revenge, RA2 mightve been "smarter")...so if you have too many Dolphins attempting to free a ship from a Giant Squid, you might end up sinking it anyway
10:55 - Elite Engineers: they can repair things to a Higher Condition percentage, in a Lower amount of Time... ...the thing is, Green Engineers are already set to 100% and 0s, respectively, so the 'improvement' goes unnoticed... (before anyone thinks thats the "real" answer, i have no idea-- though it wouldnt surprise me if i was close-- im just trying to have a bit of fun with it :-P)
I got this game recently, and on the mission dark night I rescued some cows that can trample attack dogs apparently and can go anywhere without being attacked so another valid strategy is to save the cows make them trample the attack dogs and then your spies get free reign over the map, and it's also hilarious
I’m a bit late but if you capture the psychic beacon instead of destroying it you get money crates. Unless of course capturing a building is a unit death. Man did I wish I learned that on my first run.
How the hell does the USSR have Nukes in Poland after the events of RA1? There's no way that Poland would be Soviet, or that the Allies would have allowed the USSR to have nukes. The only way for the USSR to have nukes in Poland would have been to invade and place them there, or have a Government of territory it had previously tried to invade during the previous war allow the Soviets to install the weapons.
I came across this video by accident and I really dig the content, though your super smooth and chilled out voice is hard to hear over the badass RA2 soundtrack
In Mirage mission 10 why you must abandon your allied border outpost in the middle? Is it because there is a script to have barrels in their base explode without being attacked? If that the case then it made sense. Really good video, very impressive to using a strat that been long unused and hidden ones. I'm happy to see this one popped up in my feed.
You could have captured the psychic beacon in Free Gateway which I think I did a couple times and it just ends the mission as you now control everyone. You can also bypass all of the Last Chance by sailing your destroyers up to the beacon and destroying it without building a base.
I don't think so MO is just designed differently compared to standard RA2 theres a lot of defensive mission that losing a unit is practically impossible even on easy especially on the last mission of every factions

Yes, it's possible to go around and straightly destroy Amplifier, but not without casualties. In average only 1-2 Destroyers would survive if you try go for speedrun like that.

there are 13 missions that must be beaten without losing a single unit
