I wanted to say thanks for doing a review like this, I just spent almost an hour on Norwegian Cruise lines website trying to see anything about accessible rooms. The search feature is just about useless and none of their ship information page list anything about accessible rooms. That said it’s wonderful to see a shower we are from a seated position you can actually reach the temperature and water controls!
I noticed this room only sleeps 2. Do you have a video of the accessible M4 Club Balcony rooms that accommodate 4 guests?

A huge challenge with the accessible rooms are the entry doors. They are SO heavy and if you are in a chair or scooter...it's a challenge to maneuver the chair/scooter while holding the heavy door open. NCL should have a hands-free option once you wave your cabin key.
Oof... my mom and gramma want to go on a cruise together but they're both in electric chairs, and my gramma is on oxygen so there's just not enough space :(
The room is really spacious, if you want to try the family Oceanview WC Accessible that one is even larger. It doesn't have a balcony, but it would be easily large enough to move around in.
We are a family of 3, does NCL have accessible rooms to accommodate 3 (this one just had 2 beds)?

Would you know if the Oceanview accessible rooms are similar to this one?
The bathrooms will be identical, and the threshold through each door will be just as wide and smooth. The only difference will be the lack of balcony. We wish NCL would have given us access to one of those to share with you.
Why is there only one short grab bar in the shower? Most people need bars on both sides to stand.
If you look closely you will notice a vertical and a horizontal grab bar. When the chair is moved into the slot facing the shower both hands can be used to pivot out of the chair.

If the room is listed as a Wheelchair Accessible Balcony then yes. There can be some differences but all wheelchair accessible balconies are very very similar.
