Daniil Kvyat takes his Russian Driving Test

- As one of the very few people in the world to hold a super licence but not a regular driving licence in his native country, Dany Kvyat is one of the few racing drivers to rely on public transport (or more likely a trusted lift) to get him to the shops when back in Russia.
It's about time that was put right, so following the his home Russian Grand Prix in October, he visited a test centre in Moscow to take his driving test and earn his road wheels.
Check out how Dany got on in the above video as he applies what he's learned from the F1 circuit to driving in the every day world - much to the surprise of his instructor...

Thank Christ the B-double license test is a bit more comprehensive. Reverse straight, reverse turn, both with maximum of 2 corrections, and city driving. I passed in Newcastle.

Oh, come on, it's a fiction. On theory exam no gadgets allowed, no talking allowed, no strangers shooting videos for youtube allowed, no neighbors screen peeping allowed. There is an inspector supervising an exam. Also, inspector taking the practical driving exam won't ever approve you if you will drive like in this video. But an exam itself isn't too hard to pass, not a rocket science. And gladly a lot was done to cut the practice of buying driver’s license, today it's much more complicated and expensive then 20 years ago.

I think driving on Russian roads is what provoked his crash-prone driving in 2016. To be fair, F1 cars do have some kind of dash cam.
Kvyat driving style explained: He holds the bakes while the tube is flooded with water. Floors the loud pedal and when the hatch opens he lifts off the brake and looks for the closest unwitting enemy target, if none is found he then looks for secondary friendlies to collide with, if still nothing is available he will either return to his start point and take out as many of his own crew as possible or simply self destruct in an act of defiance.

(germany) we go to a drving school and register there, then we have to take, i think 16 theoretical leassons and depends on skill but i think ~14 driving hours with a driving teacher and then a seperated theoretical and practical assessment
