you guys must have a bounty eh? heard you say they all pay the same, creeks only just opening up here, river is gone out and one community down stream is flooding out, season closes here may 31st so don't leave much time to open water trap, good to see some elk, didn't know you guys had them there
We only have bounty on a few trout streams and creeks in townships that pay us to trap them. The rest are sold in the carcass for fixed each, an across the lot price.
Hi Chris and Kenny!!😀😀 April first looked like a good day of trapping. I was surprised that the elk didn't get nervous and run off when you guys slowed down. That was kinda cool to see elk in Wisconsin that are running wild and not in a fence. Take care my friends!!😀😀 Logger Al
Nope, elk are a pet project for the DNR that has been on going for decades and they are to smart to figure out that wolves love elk. It is a huge waste of money and just creates jobs for the state.
I just need to find more time in the day. I'm already finding it hard to get IN THE WOODYARD, Now I have to find more time to go OUT OF THE WOODYARD. I guess I will hust have to sacrifice sleep🤷♂️
Couple of kids just having fun! Ken it was the “Clapper”- clap on, clap off, Soup Nazi, deploying the strap-on on the Beaver, the fun never ends. Thanks for the entertainment, fellas
We had 18 elk that would sleep in the yard. 20 yards away from the house. They were like domesticated cows. Yes we had a feeding station there. Those big round bales of hay. It would take them about 3 days to eat one big round hay bale.
We are loaded with Beaver in South Arkansas. During my Duck hunting days I came across a beaver dam that was over 100 yards long. I wonder how many beavers it took to do that?
What do you do with the tail can they be dried out and last if so do you sell them, I have a hat ordered so I thought if the tail can be saved it would be nice to have one if possible unless you keep them or have to do something else with them thanks and happy beavering
I think most people that do trap beaver eat the meat I would, i used to trap muskrat ( North Bay Baby beaver) when i was a teenager and we always ate the meat or sold it. It's very healthy.
Yes, beaver tastes just like beef! Yes, you can get a hat... just email me your name address phone number and head size measurement with a tape, it should be 22-24" or so. $250 plus shipping. chrisinthewoodyard@gmail.com
Being a city dweller, I can’t wait to hear about the wisdom of it all. Tradition, conservation, the how and why.
Beautiful videography.
Thanks for watching, sorry to hear about your dwelling place, get out while you can.
@@outofthewoodyard lol. !
Nice job guys.
Glad you enjoyed it, thanks Larry!
That will be a lot of beaver hats 😄😄
Yes it will!

They are DNR pets, they do not get hunted by people, just wolves so they live by the people .
Beaver Las Vagas😀🇦🇺
HA! Yes!
Is there a elk season there ?

Thanks Mike, yup, it is all fun!
First! Dag on that one s shaped dam was huge!
Yup, we get some big ones!
Good morning everyone
Hello Stan the Man!
Well when I lived up in Sheboygan. We had help that would sleep in the yard. Just a small heard 18 of them. Two bowls.
Cool!
As long as you catch some it's happy trapping but when it's a blank.
It's cold, wet and a pain.
We almost never get zeros. The least amount this year on a check was 8 If I remember correctly, our best day was 64.
So cool to see the beaver hunt. Thank you so much. You just need a coon skin hat.
We have beaver hats, much better and warmer!

And how many Supervisors vs. Workers!🦧
Most big dams are built over many years and many beaver families.
All beavers are workers, big difference between us and them.

Yeah, I was wondering too. I'm thinking hot pads for pans.
We do sell quite a few of the tales they get use for fish bait sometimes and sometimes tan for wallet material
Kenny needs to start carrying a camera and making a video every now and again. I'm certain there would be intersting content
He does get the camera once in a while if I hand it to him but he would rather just trap or work.
Tails can and some are made into leather.
Every video with Kenny should be started with you guys yelling
Good idea!
Silly question but do you just get the beaver fur coat or do you eat the meat?
I love these videos.
PS, how much for a beaver hat from Kenny?🦫🦫🦫🦫
