My nephew went to a rival high school 3 miles away and played basketball,even locked me out of my brothers house and left a sign on the door stating” no T-town wooden shoes fans allowed and that means you too Aunt Leeanne”. II now live in IN and a friend from my high school rival school moved to IN and our kids went to the same catholic school. During pep week, his kids wore St. Anthony Bulldogs shirts and mine wore t-town Wooden Shoes tee shirts. That loyalty never leaves.

Megan does deserve the benefit of the doubt with soccer knowledge. She’s a thousand percent right about PKs for practice in matches gives away too much. What if it’s a double header international games. If game 1 is nil-nil and you go to pks in Sue’s idea than the opponent is able to scout tendencies and who are the coach’s top five picks to take PKs and lets’s say it’s 2019, Megan is number one to take a PK and scores in game 1 and then in the run of play in game 2 has to take a team penalty, she’s (as in all players) could get in their head do I go the same way or switch it up. PKs are so mental/mind games. So yes Megan is right, it’s a bad idea. Look at WWC 2011? Megan is only self doubting herself in embarrassment but she should stick to her guns. She’s right!
