I think the center looks like red hands holding onto a sun. Cool is the word I would use too! I’ll be doing some dyeing soon - thanks for the inspiration Angie!
I REALLY like it! LOVE the color combination! LOVE how the colors glow. I like how it's light on the top, dark on the bottom. Wow, another successful experiment!!! 🥰🥰🥰
I really really like this shirt. Thank you, Angie for sharing that with us. I’ve done this fold many times and I call it a kaleidoscope fold. I think the Center a lot of times looks like a flower. Great job.
Beautiful. I couldn’t deal with the top and bottom being different. But that’s totally a ME problem. It wouldnt bother me on someone else. I love the colors.
This is really beautiful Angie! I've tried this kind of fold before and even after several rounds of ice, I couldn't get total saturation - - yours turned out great!!!!
Thank you so much! I was concerned with saturation on this one too. This shirt was bone dry though so I'm sure that helped with the saturation. It is a really thick fold though. 😀
Reminds me of a kaleidoscope! I love it so much, thank you for being both willing to experiment and sharing it with us!! I've been afraid to try mandalas but i really like how this turned out so I might try my own take on this :)
Thank you so much! It definitely looks like a kaleidoscope. I hope you do give a mandala a try. There are so many ways to vary them after the initial mandala fold. 😀
i live in canada, and i was wondering if ice dying and processing wont be affected by the environment? or is that only liquid dye methods that need to be processed indoors in a heated area?
Fiber reactive dyes really needs a temperature of at least 70 degrees Fahrenheit to properly bond with the fabric. If the color contains turquoise, warmer than 70 is ideal. During the colder months, I tie dye inside. About the only designs that I mainly dye outside are the gravity dyes. I usually don't do many of them when it gets cold.
I love it!! Beautiful colors & splits! ❤
Thank you so much! 😀
The middle looks like a person, with arms outstretched, welcoming all who gazes into the depths of this beauty of a shirt. Thanks for sharing, Angie.
Awesome, thank you! 😊

Thank you! That's a cool description for the center. 😀

Thank you! I had no idea what to call it, but I think Kaleidoscope fold is a great name for it. 😀
Love it! Even better than I thought it would be!! Thanks for another fantastic video!
Thank you! I feel the same way. I was questioning my tie dye choices until I rinsed it out. 😀
It looks like bells around the center! Really pretty Angie!
You're right, it does! 😀
❤ it!!! The colours play very well together, awesome. The design looks like big insect like eyes to me. 👏🏻👍
Thank you so much! 😀
Very cool! Looks like a sunset!!
Thank you so much! 😀

Thank you! 😀 I get it. I think it is more noticeable in photos.
Love your videos! Thank you for all your help! My ice dye incline twists came out fabulous! Can’t wait to try this out now 😊
Thank you so much! I'm so glad your incline twists are coming out fabulous. I love that design. It shows off color splits so well. 😀

It might be easier for dye placement to lift up both legs of rack then lay 1 end down after placing dye.
Yes, it would've been easier. 😀
A rubber band between each fold is my approach.
That's a great idea! 😀
I see John Lennon.
That's cool! 😀
