Thank you so much Angie for showcasing my dyes but also for showing how to do a good incline twist! I’m not giving up trying to get my incline twists to look more like yours and you had some great tips ❤. I also appreciate your honest review ❤. Have a great day
Thank you so much! I'm really glad you enjoyed it! Your dyes are beautiful and I think the incline twists really showcase all the gorgeous color splits. Well done mixing such beautiful colors. 😀
Mirage and Lily Pad are my favs but they are all cool in their own way. Mirage reminds me of Interstellar which I love. Thanks for testing these beautiful dyes for us, Angie.
I agree that they are both such pretty colors. 😀 Mirage was a bit more bright than Interstellar for me. On the incline twist I made, Interstellar was kind of a grayed version with a stormy looking blue/purple and pink.
They all turned out beautifully - - but (no surprise) my favorite is Mirage - - greens/purples/blues are my default trinity!!! Great job as always Angie!!
Fun to see the new colors and their gorgeous splits ❤ I’ve only had an issue with the dye not grabbing the colors…only grabbing a pale mauve pink, when it was the shirt on the top of my SA bucket that had actually soaked the soda ash, but some places were hard almost, because it dried out while the rest was still soaking. 🤷♀️but, it was the first shirt that my bff snatched off the rack, that she wanted😂😂✌️❤️🧊🎨🌎🌈
I'm glad you enjoyed them! I think they are all really cool colors. Isn't it funny how the shirts we think aren't perfect are loved by someone else? 😀 Every now and then a batch of soda ash solution will be wacky and I've had issues with the shirt not soaking up the dye, but this batch isn't one of those. I think the shirt just didn't get saturated well enough in that area. Otherwise, there was something on the shirt that I couldn't see. I did prewash it in hot water and textile detergent, but I guess it could still be possible. The shirt did come from a recent batch of shirts I purchased. All the other shirts did fine and I have been using this soda ash solution without a problem for a few weeks.
I absolutely LOVE Lollipop. I definitely gravitate to pinks with everything but I really love the color splits. I'm surprised that i did like Honeybee because I'm not a fan of yellow or orange but it turned out pretty.
I think Lollipop is really pretty too. Honeybee was a surprise to me too. I think it is the more orange/yellow and brightness that I really like. It is a cool color! 😀
Lollipop is so pretty! I think she's had that color on her website a little while. I've seen quite a few shirts people have made using it, and they are all so pretty. 😀
Wow honeybee and Lilly pad are absolutely stunning! Thanks for the tip on the getting the blobs out. I made my first incline twist the other day with dark horse’s candy pop and now I feel like I need to do it with all my colors.
Honeybee is so bright and the grey/blue split is really cool. Lillipad really is so soft and has such pretty color splits. I think incline twists are such an awesome way to show off color splits. They really show all the beauty in a dye color. 😀
Oh Vinyl Guttering, my favorite two words haha I still need to figure out where to buy some, I had no idea guttering was a word, I would have just called it a gutter lol
I buy mine at Lowe's. Vinyl guttering isn't as sharp as the metal guttering, and it won't rust. Soda ash corrodes metal and will eventually form small micro holes in metal (like Aluminum baking pans).
I'm not sure what you mean by a fabric barrier. I purposely wanted to try a single color on each shirt to see what the color splits like. If I tried multiple colors on the shirt it would look pretty, but I wouldn't be able to tell exactly what color was coming from what dye. I wanted to see the color variation and splits in each individual dye color.

I love the twist technique; of course, with one function arm it's the easiest for me. 😊 Got to get me some of these colors.
I think it's a great technique! The color splits look fantastic on a twist. 😀
My favorites are lily pad and mirage those are fantastic colors. Thank you so much for this complete tutorial on these new colors.❤

Beautiful, some of the colors remind me of some of the happy cat dyes.
I think they are all really pretty colors! 😀
I ordered Lolli pop , I can't wait to play with that oneeeee
Lollipop is so pretty, and vibrant. I hope you love it! 😀
Love that lollipop! But they are all pretty nice!❤

About how much dye do you sprinkle over the shirts….XL for example
That's a tough one, maybe a teaspoon or so.
Why don’t you use a fabric barrier so no dye created blobs? Also what happens if you mix colors?
