Just recently assembled (like a day ago) a new computer and this video does come in handy, as I'm installing extensions at the moment on a new SU license on the build. Cheers!
Hello Thank you very much for your training How can we get shop maps from this plan? Let's implement it. Please also teach the method of preparing the shop map Thank you
When I bend a 3D object like a box, the length of it changes. For example: suppose the box is 500mmx500mmx70mm, it,s length should still be 500mm, even if it is bend 360°. This isn't the case, when I bend a surface of 50mm into a circle, it gets a circumference of 942mm!?
I forgot, Chris Fullmer - Shape Bender it may be good also, and is free, you can create whatever pattern you want, and than bend something over that pattern.
Hi everyone! Let me know what you think about TrueBend in the comments below! :)
Really love watching your videos techniques in sketchup
Glad you like them!
As always Justin, you've made a great video on a Professional level! Thank you.

Oooh - what do the specs look like?
@@Thesketchupessentials RTX card, 64GB RAM, Ryzen 12 cores, the works...
This is amazing. Is there a way to stop the distortion of other components within the model when bending?
love your video...keep it up Justin
Niiiiice!! Great extension
It's a good one

I"m using the free web browser version. Is there no way to bend on object in vanilla? Seems silly not to have that
No you cannot
This is your fourth video on TrueBend. Are you okay?
Sixth - since 2018. That's an average of talking about a highly valuable free SketchUp extension once a year. If anything, seems light to me :)
@@Thesketchupessentials *Seems okay* *Will monitor*
how to bend from particular pick point. ?
Only with Fredo Scale, and thare is another one called Metal Sheet
I'd recommend FredoScale as well - I've not tried the other one yet
Metal Sheet Bender does not work with whole complex groups/components, it only bends the smallest individual group/component inside of an assembly.

it deforms the objects
I mean...by definition bending an object is deforming an object
