The two “claws” are supposed to be his two katanas and his sewn mouth and bald head head are supposed to represent the full mask without having to wear a mask. It is a failed experiment but they tried.

I got an embarrassing secret to tell. I was 10 years old when Green Lantern first released, and let’s just say I was 100% hooked on the film and idea of being a Green Lantern. I ate up all the fucken merchandise released for the film.
Dude - never be embarrassed by loving something that other people don’t get! I am a huge Green Lantern fan - I’ll be sharing more of that in the future!

25:05 I removed the Desert Eagles from the Marvel Legends DP in his holsters, it looks way better in his hands compared to the lazer pistol things. He’s my favorite Marvel Legend I own

I also broke his left hand and his left foot, but I hot glued it together which sadly limits his movement as if he didn't already have limited movement. Oh and I lost all his accessories 😑 I'm waiting for the D&W Marvel legends figures to release.
Unpopular Opinion: Green Lantern wasn't THAT bad. Yes, it's a generic superhero movie and it suffered from being very unremarkable but it doesn't deserve nearly as much hate as it should, it isn't nearly as bad as something like Fant4stic or The Flash.
Fun fact: Very recently, a whole new Lantern Corps was added to the Green Lantern mythos! It is the Grey Lantern corps, and the emotion that they are powered by is sorrow. There is only one known member, but more are sure to come.
Deleting the comments with plot details is appreciated. I’ve been avoiding trailers and promotional media as much as possible to go into the movie basically knowing nothing about it. I didn’t want to know Dogpool was in the movie but that’s fine, it’s not going ruin the movie for me (I presume).
Hello carbon scoring it’s me again that guy that responded to that post on old toybiz animated Spiderman, I had to change accounts because I forgot my password because I had to change from at@t to Verizon, but this is me 100% in the blood, I just had to say you inspired me to start collecting hard core, 2 years ago I started watching you’re videos the first and the one that got me my first toybiz figure being your marvel icons mystery box, I remember laying in bed watching it every night before school, this led me to get the captain America because it impressed me and I thought it was amazing. But for now on until you respond I’ll save the figures I got after but all I can say is that I’m getting figures left and right and this week especially I have a lot of figures still coming.
That is so cool! It makes me super proud to have inspired your collecting. Remember, I didn’t start with all these figures, it has taken decades to get to this point - don’t rush - collect what you enjoy and don’t compare your collection to someone else’s - just love what you have!

It's very unfortunate how the green lantern movie turned out The costume for the film looks very cool but that I guess is sadly the only redeeming quality. But it does suck that it was a cgi suit.
The thing is, the price point with Hasbro Marvel Legends. Whilst ToyBiz had base, accessories, AND a comic book to go along with the figure, for an astoundingly cheaper price.
marvel legends doesn't come CLOSE to shf details wise for me, especially when we talk about the mask. and the feeling of the plastic is just overall worse, still not bad
Figuarts are also more expensive, higher end collectible figures and not regular made for retail releases. Half their yearly releases are premium Bandai exclusives.

The Green Lantern figure’s leg breaking is not due to age. I had that figure as a kid, and the exact same break happened on mine with regular play
