The Sony 20-70mm F4 is hands down one of the best lenses Sony has ever released and it has amazing features for both photography and videography (ex. it stays sharp even at F4, it has minimal lens breathing, the autofocus is extremely fast, the 20mm wide angle is very handy for anything from landscape photography to vlogging and believe it or not it has very decent macro capabilities). This is the lens I mostly use these days, it can easily cover 95% of my shooting needs!
35mm f4 is more than enough but for 20mm, that f2.8 is quite a bit better in my opinion. With that said f4 is still better subject separation and low light performance than f2.8 in APS-C… for now I have the 20mm viltrox prime which is tiny and a 28-60mm which is also tiny, but eyeing the 17-28mm f2.8 to replace the Viltrox with a bit more versatility, maybe heh
Is the ride on a bike on 4:47 shot with the ZV-E1 being put on that Ulanzi clamp which is seen at 4:42? I am doubting and asking because the bike shot angle is almost centered, so looks like not the Ulanzi clamp on a backpack strap.
I think this is why I’ve lost interest in camera bodies and prefer a pocket 3 or iPhone log for travel. The lens is about 3-4x the size of the body. Bulky and not comfortable. Much less likely to went to use that setup than pocket 3 or iPhone. Great video though!
I understand where you're coming from, and it makes total sense, but personally, I still prefer to use a proper camera even for traveling, and this lens makes it a breeze. However, the Pocket 3 and iPhone combo seem great. I might finally upgrade my old iPhone XR this year to see what all the fuss is about. Cheers!
Right now pocket 3 or high end phone, you stuck with the wide angle shots. Pocket 3 only 20mm lens. Phone main camera is around 24mm. Once you use the 3x 5x whatever the other lens, the quality drop so much and no real bokeh anymore. But who know what is coming in the future if pocket 4 add another 1 inch 50mm f2.8 lens. or phone's second lens just as impressive as the main camera, then it is different experience.

Doesn’t mean it’s wrong just think many could reevaluate their actual needs. Too many of us assume we need this equipment to capture beautiful memories. It’s false.
When you use a camera, you quit shooting photos like you do with a cellphone. It's made for quick and dirty photos with little artistic value. A camera brings out the artist in you.

The POV bike ride shot was filmed with the DJI Action 4 and the GoPro bite mount.,
if you don't mind higher f stops I really recommand the 18-135, very good for the price and weight

I bought 20-70 F4 for my ZV-E1 for video purposes. But now, I also use it on my A7IV for photography. Why? Because of its small form factor.
It's a great all around lens!
