Love, Love, Love Stevie ❤🎉Soooo much! He was the best inspiration to all of us growing up. I seen him and met him and I still love him everyday and miss him. Thank you, Stevie. 😅I have tears of joy that I got to meet you, Amen.(RIP)SRV😂❤😊🎉
We love you Stevie! We miss you so much! Everybody should remember that he was drinking and doing a lot of coke during this time and look how great he was playing! He only got better and better and better after he sobered up 86 87 88 Etc so glad I got to see him 15 x possibly a few more
This concert footage is DEFINITELY NOT from Parker's Restaurant in North Seattle. It is from SRV's well-documented performance at the Seattle Center Coliseum during Bumbershoot on 9/1/1985. This stage is FAR too large for Parker's Bar, as is the sheer volume of audience voice. I say this as a life-long follower of SRV and a resident of Seattle in the 80s and 90s.
Road warriors! We exp. SRV & DT fronting [first N.American show of] Dire Straits tour in Montreal late July. Same incredulous reception! Who can top the opening one-two punch of Scuttle Buttin & Say What?
Thank you so much for posting all of these! This is one I haven’t seen! I really appreciate all of your hard work!! Where on earth do you find these?!! This is about 28 days before he got clean!! But he still sound great!! Whoops! It’s a year and 28 days!
Are you sure about the venue? It doesn’t look like Parker’s, this looks like it was recorded at the Paramount Theatre. Awesome to see either way. Thanks for posting!
This DEFINITELY took place at the Seattle Center Coliseum during Bumbershoot on 9/1/1985. I took pictures at the concert, and the monitors were set up exactly like in my pictures. Unfortunately, I can't figure out how to attach one of my photos to this comment.

Love the VERY different version of Empty Arms!
Always love those moments like 2:47 onwards, when the crowd realizes they’re witnessing something very special, it’s pure ecstasy🎶😎
Mike McCready was at this show.

Do you mean 1 year and 28 days? This is 1985 not 1986 :)
He got clean in October 1986
SRVMusicVideo whoops!! Yes! That’s what I meant! I have to start reading these better!
his sobriety date was october 13th, so it would have been a year and 42 days
Wow super rare!! I have the soundboard to this show. Its a great concert
I'm surprised the sbd is not on youtube already or I missed it ? I only found one song here.
SRVMusicVideo i’ve seen it on youtube. What is strange is that, the one on UA-cam is a different soundboard version then the one i have.
@@SRV89Fender Are you good at editing videos? I tried to sync it with this video but failed hard.
