To be fair to Biggie , I heard he tried to warn Pac about hanging around Jimmy, King Tut, Haitian Jack and the rest and Pac went and told them what Biggie said. Can’t really blame Biggie for keeping quiet after that.
@@melo7969right alotta times niggas be thinking rappers are tougher than they really are..That frank white shit was entertainment.Henchman and Jack and them were really the niggas niggas used to try to portray
I think the whole situation was a BIG misunderstanding. What was misinformation became truth in the eyes of others because nobody wanted to tell the truth and because of that Pac and Biggie are gone.
Pac Knew Biggie didn't set him up in Quad. Biggie had warned him earlier to stay away from them dudes so he had Pac's best interest and Pac Knew that. Nobody is going to come out and admit Pac was wrong for that. There's too many double standards here, "Biggie shouldn't have been out here etc". Acting like it's blasphemy to call out Pac on anything but you stay slandering Big. Pac wasn't God.
Pac never said Big set him up, he said Big was aware of the set up that's what I saw in an interview. His thing was Biggie was supposed to warn him as his homeboy. That's it.
At the end of the day there were mistakes made by both parties. It's sad, because hip hop was at it's apex with every region participating, but unfortunately as great as that era was, there will always be a shadow cast over it, because of both men dying. The issue could have been resolved if both men were to have sat down behind closed doors, just the two of them and talked it out. RIP Pac and RIP Big.
Exactly. If Puff let Big know when Pac got to Quad Studios then that to me is it right there Pac and Big both talk and ask you good? Then they work it out freestyle rap together.😮 It don't concern nobody else.
@Mysterwright I'm confused, is rap real or is it just a shtick? How do you "freestyle rap" together after:"you claim to be a player, but I effed your wife"?
Of course 50 year old MC Eiht would say he wouldn't have went out into hostile territory while beef was brewing, but 25 year old MC Eiht would've said the exact opposite.
The east coast west coast beef started with Tim Dog when he dissed the West Coast with F Compton. However the beef with Deathrow vs Badboy escalated it pretty much
Biggie is dead, Ask the one guy that Mysteriously wasn't riding with him the day he was assassinated. They were always together. The CEO convinced him to go out to Cali. Go Figure.

That’s right. Biggie didn’t want to go he had a busted leg or something as I remember it’s why he walked with a cane. Puffy wouldn’t take no for an answer
Diddy had a hit out on Pac ,so Suge did the same to Big. Unfortunately and coincidentally, Pac attacked his hit-man inside MGM Grand and died as a result. Biggie going to L.A. just 6 months later was a fatal mistake. Him going to the radio station in L.A. doing songs that dissed a dead man wasn't smart either. RIP Makaveli The Don
Wrong. Puffy put the hit out on biggie. Suge was lock up during the time biggie died. Puffy hade to make biggie death a east coast vs west Coast beef . After he put a hit out on Suge and pac . Puffy is the only one profit on biggie death .
I don’t believe Puffy had a hit on Tupac and if he did that’s not what killed him. He was a rapper messing with a gang banger who was about that life. That’s what killed him.
@@Frugal637 Puffy(according to Keefe D) offered him 1 mill to "make this Suge and 2pac problem go away..." By now with all the death threats Puffy and them were getting from Suge, Pac and his crew- I believe Puffy got concerned and scared for his life. So he hired south side Compton crips to act as extra security against Suges MOB piru bloods. Apparently it got to a point were Puffy wanted to get rid of these dudes, so he offered 1 mil and Keefe D and crew answered the call. FF to Las Vegas Mike Tyson fight Sept 7. Suge, Pac and them and Keefe D with Orlando and others went down there too to see the fight. I think Keefe said that they had just came to see the fight, but then Pac and them jumped Orlando in the MGM. And they decided to go ahead a seize that opportunity to pop them. They knew they were gonna be at club 662 so they rode there and waited. Pac and them didn't go to 662 right away, they went back to the hotel, changed clothes and stuff. Reggie wright Jr had that whole change with security not having weapons and Pac rode with Suge on they way to 662. Keefe said they went to a store to get some to snack on I guess, cuz Pac and them wasn't at 662 yet. Got back on the strip, heard groupies and fans yelling Pac this and that, and saw that the car was indeed filled with Pac and Suge. Perfect for a drive-by. They rode up to the passenger side and Orlando fired 💥💥💥💥💥 and sped off. Security in another car tried chasing but lost them. Keefe said later after the news hit, puff called and asked was that them? As in, was that Keefe who shot them? I fully believe Puff put out the hit. Now, BIG? Idk. Suge getting revenge on Puff makes sense, but then you got the Muslim dude and all these other theories....so idk.
From my understanding Biggie was later informed details regarding the quad shooting but it seemed Biggie was put in a tough situation; he could tell Pac everything he heard regarding the quad setup which would be traitorous to his NY people, or he could be disloyal to his friend Pac by not telling Pac what he heard regarding the setup. Biggie chose the latter.
Facts. And that's all pac was trying to tell people. If you are the king of nyc. Tell me what u know. People forgot biggie was the one who started the beef.
@@gdc6153 he didnt use big as a scape goat lol he just threw big into the fire as well, he dissed the niggas who was behind it as well, pac just liked to beef, thats what led to his demise
He was absolutely right. If Pac never would’ve said anything about biggie knowing about his shooting, none of the following events would’ve transpired. No hit em up, no Suge source awards, no stand off at the MTV Awards, nothing. All this starts with Pac and his personal issues. He’s the root of the problem. He’s the reason he’s dead and the reason Big died. End of story. It could’ve all been avoided but he had to push the issue
Like he said, because Pac was so vocal and brutal in speech, he was able to get people to believe any and damn near everything he said. There was indeed many people in LA that believed and rode for Pac regardless of the truths involved. LA is a point system gang culture, one of ours is gone, let's take one of they'res.

And you are assuming that BIG knew beforehand. Why cause Pac said so🤦🏾♂ FOH 2Pac fanboy. Plus BIG warned Pac to watch the company he keeps Mike Tyson and others as well. Wasnt it already said thay Big was reluctant to go and asked several people for second opinions? Didnt they say puffy prssured him into going and was acting like he knew something the night of the tragedy?
@@daddyrareman Biggie got killed for nothing. They knew Biggie leaving would hurt their pockets so they killed Biggie to collect insurance and royalties from Life After Death. But look what happened two years later in 1999, Puffy did something that put Clive Davis out of commission at Arista. Puffy ended up signing a new distribution deal with Universal anyway.
@@fizzywomack6178 True but that was all Puff putting that out with the bad timing and all. I really believe BIG had no control over that. A song he had done over 6 months prior. That was all Puff.
It's crazy how many West Coast dudes are starting to go with that narrative now. I'm starting to wonder if any of these dudes actually had any love for Pac. It's like they all are trying to stay in somebody's good graces.
MC Eiht is funny AF. He basically agreed & confirmed what Clark Kent said without realizing it. 😂 Yes it was a hit, payback for Pac. Plain & simple. One doesn't happen without the other and it all stems from PAC & Suge going at Bad Boy because of the Quad robbery/shooting!
Naw Suge and Puff was beefing before that. Puff bodyguard kill Suge homeboy at a party. Pac just aligned himself with Suge to get out of jail, Protection, and they had the same beef. Suge been trying to get Puff. That Biggie hit may have even been intended for Puff. They caught Biggie instead. On top of that they had all types of warnings and was running with the Crips. It’s deep.
In my heart of all hearts. I feel Diddy had Bigs delete because he was about to leave Bad Boy and start his own imprint. He was a casualty to make it seem like it was part of the East West Beef. That was one helluva smokescreen. And people with both eyes closed think its what the media says it is.
That is strange to me because from what I understand, Biggie had to a photoshoot for the Life After Death album cover in January 1997 so he really didn't get to L.A. until February.
Wrong. Pac was just lying to justify attacking Big. He knew who did it immediately when his boys who were closer to him than Big told him. He didn't really have questions for Big.
He made a song about the situation beforehand he said he was scared he knew how everyone was upset but still went...Big knew what was taking place ..for some reason he accepted Puff decision

@@jedimasteryoda1282 What does who shot ya have to do with pac thinking big knew about the setup? Pac knew what that shit was about and who was responsible but he wanted to profit off the situation.
If your homie don't pick you up at the airport on the way to the studio, after being invited there in the first place, or try to tip you off that you are going to be robbed if you show up, or doesn't visit you after you were shot 9 times, it's safe to say he has something to do with it and from that point on he will be considered and treated like an Op.
Nobody ever talks about Big doing that freestyle from Long Kiss Good Night, in which he sneak disses Pac, as the reason Big was killed. I heard it angered people around LA because they felt he was coming at Pac, who was dead. Maybe his disrespect caused him death.
Big Pooch told his whole family that Puff paid them off to handle BIG, word got back to the streets that Pooch was opening his mouth & then he got killed in prison not so long after ...
The moment that I read that Big was going to L.A., was the moment that he died to me. All respect to him, I've always been a big fan since first hearing him on the 'The Who's The Man?' movie soundtrack CD. I don't remember where I was when I heard that Big died, but I DO remember where I was when I read the article about him going to L.A., because that was the moment that I knew it was a wrap.

Biggie going to L.A. just 6 months later was a fatal mistake. Him going to the radio station in L.A. doing songs that dissed a dead man wasn't smart either. RIP Makaveli The Don

By now with all the death threats Puffy and them were getting from Suge, Pac and his crew- I believe Puffy got concerned and scared for his life.
