What I love about the recent Oden's Eye palettes is that they really try to incorporate warm and cool tones with a clear lay-out of the shades unlike other brands that have shades all over the place.
I fully agree! I'm so happy with both options since the more warmer tones do not go with my skin so we'll but the cool stories do. This makes it fit for everyone.

I actually love so much of Oden's eyes colour stories i just cannot make myself pay for them after the exchange rate and shipping prices to Australia but this colour story looks so nice! I dont need it so I'm not going to buy it but i love seeing your reviews and the looks you make
I really want to thank you for introducing me to this brand, I m wearing the Christmas palette today and I also used my singe brushes! For anyone from the EU, you might be asked to pay taxes (it only happened to me once, and I buy from them a lot!) but the brand usually reimburses you. Love the looks!
Indie brands are the ones having interesting palettes launch so far. I haven't purchased a mainstream brand palette and none have captured my attention.

You know, at first I was a little afraid that looking at the Gems palette might be a little too close to the Flora palette they released a little bit ago, but putting them up side by side on my computer, they really do look different. I love Oden's Eye, and am so ready for May 20! (And yes, they have the jewelry up, with prices, on their website.)

psssst if you have Angies palette, you can re-create the first look she did and a pretty close 2nd look too. Just have to use 1 or 2 extra colors but I love how Odens eye layers and they dont blend out to an ugly mud hue

But me, as a consumer, I don't want to buy something that I already have in other palettes or buying something on a whim. I'd rather be thoughtful about my purchases and let pass some time so I can think about it later on

Yeah, the jewelry to me looks like something you'd find in the kids department at Wal-Mart or Target for $5. It's kind of bizarre.
How does the more green palette compare to the Hela palette? Are there interchangeable shades?

The Make Up For Ever finishing powder is the best for changing a lipstick into a matte! And also definitely bombshell vibes and we love a villain era!
Oden’s Eye remains my fav indie brand their packaging in palettes is just absolutely breathtaking even if their palettes are more neutral leaning the depth their palettes have is great! Also I don’t mind neutral palettes even tho I’m more colorful eyeshadow person but my issues with most neutral palettes is the shimmers they are always lackluster and not sparkly enough but then again it’s preference and I also don’t hate hold back shimmers but for the most part I love sparkly shimmers I guess I’m too open minded with makeup haha 🤣
I love their packaging but I have no idea why ..I have a really hard time with their shimmers.

@@markusfeindt man I dont know why .im a professional makeup artist and I mean I literally ordered 4 ! Of Angie's palette and in 2 they were hard pressed or something. I ordered a couple others in the last collection and I haven't tried yet .one is a gift so hopefully I have better luck but im super hesitant. Its definitely not the mattes .im kinda just still shocked I guess because I haven't found a shimmer I couldn't work with somehow u know ? .lmao and I've tried different everything as a base or primers or what not.ill try the last order and see if its better. Until then im sitting on the sidelines .I literally didn't order the Xmas ones just for that reason and I couldve.i was bummed but I got over it .I've managed to live fine without them ! 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Actually, I read something interesting on how different cultures interpret and name colours differently, so there can be some discrepancies there. And then there's the fact that humans see different ranges of colours depending on how many cones they have in their eyes and the brain interpretation itself and then age and deterioration. My mum was arguing a lot with me and my daughter about colours, so I tested all of us with an online colour range test. Her mark was really low, like can't tell the difference in colours as much as us. My kids were also higher than me but I wasn't much behind. So ALL IN ALL colour interpretation is an interesting human phenomena
Not really feeling these. For one, I have both your palette and the Merry Christmas palette, so between the two, I already own very similar colors to a lot of these. Two, I feel that it's odd to have a palette called Jewels & Gem and not have it consist of mostly bold jewel tones. If they had done that and made Stone & Rock super neutral, then I'd have been interested. Missed opportunity.

I've been waiting for a new permanent launch. I intend on picking both of these up, possibly on restock as I'm sure they will sell out instantly. I turn 40 on May 30th.
Gaaaaahhhh - trying so hard to be on a low buy but Oden's Eye is my favorite indie brand and their eyeshadow mattes and shimmers are unparalleled. I think I will have to add a special clause for OE to be exempt to any low/no buy efforts on my part. It can't be helped...

Two beautiful look as always! These palettes are sooo pretty but I'm gonna pick up the Jewels & Gem on the restock I'm on a no buy right now and waiting for 2 palettes to come soon already lol. But why does Odens Eye always come out with 2 or 3 beautiful palettes and then I have to choose which one I want the most lol. But Jewels & Gem is def more my color story.

I love the idea of Jewel & Gem but realisticaly Stone & Rock is my style… clearly I need to sleep on this decission. I’m glad it’s not limited edition. Also I still have not picked up Muse palette from Cosmic brushes and that looks like great mix of both colour stories or other way around OE are great green or muave leaning palettes. Am I thinking aloud? Yes.

I do love Oden's Eye, but these are an easy pass for me, I just need to slow down on purchasing eyeshadow pallette's and it's not easy. But both looks were beautiful. 😘💜

OMG, I am loving these color stories! They lean a little dark, maybe, for my vampire 🧛🏻♀️ skin, lol. I need some sun so I can rock 🪨 some deeper colors! Odens Eye is probably my 2nd favorite brand after Unearthly Cosmetics. The fact that they are NOT limited edition makes my ❤ so happy!!

I only own the Cats Breath and Angie's palette, and the brush set which is awesome. The ordering experience was A+++ I asked for extra packing material because hello way up in Northern Canada here, the delivery people can be rough. Nothing arrived broken and @ the time the shipping was free because of my order amount. Whatever you order I am sure you'll be pleased with.
Great quality and unique colors. The mattes are nice. Glitters are a chunky but that's easily fixed w/ setting spray after you pick up shadow.

Love both looks on you but I think these are not for me. A bit too cool toned for me. The “jewellery” looks really bad in my opinion. Very cheap looking.
It is mauve. If you google mauve color it shows that the shade you are using is indeed mauve. I prefer a more lavender mauve like in marvelous mauves. Unfortunately, they're not very common.
They are both gorgeous but I want the Don't Be Jelly as well so my brain is like ok...is three palettes too much?!
The mattes in the green palette looked very average for layering. Perhaps not too much of an issue for a neutral color story, but a bit disappointing for an indie shadow.
