I really appreciate and value your swatch videos, especially for palettes, and singles like from Oden's Eye or Clionadh. I find a lot of youtube videos have their lighting undertone off and unnatural, or way too bright and saturated, etc. And while I love all those creators (not targeted towards anyone in specific), I struggle a lot to make sense of the colors. I feel like I can make out the colors so much more with you (and a few others) and how it would look on me, even though you're more vibrant neutral-warm/warm and I'm more muted neutral-cool. I love that they're expanding the line of singles and that they've made magnetic cardboard palettes. I definitely feel that they're gradually completing both shades and different stories in the palettes. Some fall into my basket...surely!! The pigmentation looks like the matte palettes but the others looks like changes in formulas. One that I know!! Sif is Thor's wife.
Saga is my name! 100% ordering that one just for the sake of the name 😄 Saga was an Æsir (asynja) and the name means "She who sees". It wasn't very common when I was a kid, so nothing ever had my name on it! So mandatory purchase. Just a tip for anybody out there, temu and Alibaba and those other types of websites, they have magnetic needle sewing cases that are these small cases..they might be called like a magnetic pincushion or something like that, and I can fit like 2-3 eye shadows in that, and it closes very secure... It's how I take 2 or 3 shadows with me when I'm traveling, because it keeps them secure and keeps them magnetized and all.. But those types of travel or small magnetic palates made specifically for makeup just cost too much for what you get on Amazon

I'm surprised at how some words are so similar to Mexican spanish words, like SOL is sun, Luna is moon, NANNA is short for grandma , I have a brother in law who is named OSCAR, and pronounced the same, and my youngest daughter is named ANGELICA, but the G is pronounced like an H, my oldest daughter is named ESTRELLA ,which means " STAR" the double LL is pronounced like a Y, . Anyways, I'm 52 and I tried a more colorful but sutle look today using a Pat Magrath palette from 3 years ago, and my 14 year old grandsons girlfriend said I looked pretty 🤭. I'm so hyped after watching your videos, that I have changed my mind on some items I was planning on getting when the black friday sales start, " been saving up " LOL , but now instead I'm going to invest in some Indy brands 🤗🤗. Pro-tip: don't use your finger to apply your shadows if you have lotion on your hands. I know Angelica doesn't religiously use lotion, which could be why she sometimes doesn't get hard pan as often as others. Also, (sry Lauren) Lauren Mae LOVES using hand creams and complains about hard pan often.

I literally thought of it while Angie was talking about how she didn't have any issues with hard planning from OE's first single drop; and in the video I watched from Lauren last night, she mentioned that the CT holiday palette had hard pan in all the shimmers. Then it all just suddenly clicked in my brain 🧠 It reminded me of when TheresaIsDead was saying certain shimmers burned her eyes, but that was when she was using setting spray to wet her shimmers. After some viewers mentioned it could be the setting sprays, she switched to regular water and voilá! They no longer burned her eyes :)

Pro-tip: don't use your finger to apply your shadows if you have lotion on your hands.
I know Angelica doesn't religiously use lotion, which could be why she sometimes doesn't get hard pan as often as others. Also, (sry Lauren) Lauren Mae LOVES using hand creams and complains about hard pan often.

I literally thought of it while Angie was talking about how she didn't have any issues with hard planning from OE's first single drop; and in the video I watched from Lauren last night, she mentioned that the CT holiday palette had hard pan in all the shimmers. Then it all just suddenly clicked in my brain 🧠
It reminded me of when TheresaIsDead was saying certain shimmers burned her eyes, but that was when she was using setting spray to wet her shimmers. After some viewers mentioned it could be the setting sprays, she switched to regular water and voilá! They no longer burned her eyes :)

There are 2 shades in this collection that are named after 2 of my furbabies, Luna & Zoey. So of course those shades are special to me.
