One question: how did she not already know that? They come individually packaged. By the time the video was made, they were unpackaged and put into the magnetic compact. I don’t think that was the first time she saw her name on the back. That was nice of Odens Eye to do that andI love Angelicas channel but come on women, we need to be smarter than that.
@@jennifermorgan5216 as women we also need to stop telling women they lie. I had 42 shadows to unpack and they come VERY well packaged, I unpacked them all while looking at a Netflix documentary and did not read the name of a single of these shadows during. I understand that we are living in weird times, but accusing strangers of lies they do not need to make is rude. Maybe that's a lie you'd tell, I would not and did not.
@jennifermorgan5216 Sorry you feel that way. To me, it seems like it would have been super easy to miss the shade names. I miss them all the time, especially on tiny squares. But I don't really care how you feel about my intelligence, weirdly suspicious internet stranger.
Buri is Oden's grandfather, the "father of all gods". Bragi is the god of poetry, ceremony and bards. These shadows are very pretty, especially Angelica! 🧡🧡🧡
I cannot bring myself to watch anyone else, swatch these shades, because I just know they’re going to struggle with the names. Listening to Angie correctly pronounce the words in Swedish turns this swatch party into a whole different vibe! I recently lost a best friend, who was Swedish, and listening to Angie, reminds me so much of her! 💜

Saga is my name! 100% ordering that one just for the sake of the name 😄 Saga was an Æsir (asynja) and the name means "She who sees". It wasn't very common when I was a kid, so nothing ever had my name on it! So mandatory purchase. I hope it was you they had in mind when they named the Angelica shade ❤ And I think they may have taken some names from the rest of Scandinavia as well. I think Buri is Norwegian or Icelandic?
Just a tip for anybody out there, temu and Alibaba and those other types of websites, they have magnetic needle sewing cases that are these small cases..they might be called like a magnetic pincushion or something like that, and I can fit like 2-3 eye shadows in that, and it closes very secure...
It's how I take 2 or 3 shadows with me when I'm traveling, because it keeps them secure and keeps them magnetized and all..
But those types of travel or small magnetic palates made specifically for makeup just cost too much for what you get on Amazon

First of I wanna say these shadows look AMAZING! I am so so SO glad I came across your channel I am a massive fan! I actually just ordered your two of each of your available collab palettes from Odins Eye as well as the color switcher! You have very similar taste to myself in makeup and living in Texas like myself your foundation and wear tests! I’m excited to get the new Urban Decay foundation after hearing how much you loved it especially being in a humid environment! I love that they're expanding the line of singles and that they've made magnetic cardboard palettes. I definitely feel that they're gradually completing both shades and different stories in the palettes. Some fall into my basket...surely!! The pigmentation looks like the matte palettes but the others looks like changes in formulas. One that I know!! Sif is Thor's wife.
Odin is definitely the Danish way to spell Odin 🥰
Aidan/ Aiden is an Irish name we’d spell it with an a not the e typically or Aodhán which is pronounced as Ahdawn in Irish! I love Logan my favourite so far 🤩

In 4th grade I was in a play called the saga of Sif’s hair. We were pronouncing all the names wrong for sure (this was at a school in Cali)! But I think Sif was Thor’s wife. I played one of the gnomes that made his hammer 😆
You are correct, Sif is a goddess and the wife of Thor. They are often thought of as an earth goddess/sky god couple, which is very common in pan-European mythology and symbolizes the relationships between weather cycles and growing seasons. Sif is known for her long golden hair, and in one story Loki cut her hair off while she was sleeping because he likes to cause trouble on purpose. To escape the consequences of his actions, he presented the other gods with magical gifts, including Thor’s hammer, Freyr’s golden boar, and new hair for Sif made of spun gold, which magically attached to her head and grew like normal hair.

I really appreciate and value your swatch videos, especially for palettes, and singles like from Oden's Eye or Clionadh. I find a lot of youtube videos have their lighting undertone off and unnatural, or way too bright and saturated, etc. And while I love all those creators (not targeted towards anyone in specific), I struggle a lot to make sense of the colors. I feel like I can make out the colors so much more with you (and a few others) and how it would look on me, even though you're more vibrant neutral-warm/warm and I'm more muted neutral-cool. I appreciate you ❤

I’d thought that one shade was dedicated to you. You have certainly helped spread the word about this brand. Milly (bad to the brow) had a grand ‘ol time playing with these too, but if you have an issue with creasing, she goes over which ones are “squishy.”

I also haven’t had any hard panning issues with Oden’s Eye shadows, though I also don’t like using my fingers to apply make up. 😅 These singles are wonderful! I’ve built up my singles collection enough so I’ll probably opt out of this release, but I’m glad Oden’s Eye has more singles now since they ship from HK and are more accessible to us girlies living in Asia.
I also love when you do reds and pinks! Then again...i think all the colors do really well, youre my rainbow Angie!! I think of you more rainbow 🌈 than clown 🤡
I’m usually a sparkle multichromes girl but those shimmers are catching my eye!
Gosh the shimmers shades look like foil paper it's crazy, i want them all.
The name Nana for a lavender is fitting (lavender is known to be very calming and help you to sleep).
Ofc Angelica is orange, our orange girl.
Pro-tip: don't use your finger to apply your shadows if you have lotion on your hands.
I know Angelica doesn't religiously use lotion, which could be why she sometimes doesn't get hard pan as often as others. Also, (sry Lauren) Lauren Mae LOVES using hand creams and complains about hard pan often.

I literally thought of it while Angie was talking about how she didn't have any issues with hard planning from OE's first single drop; and in the video I watched from Lauren last night, she mentioned that the CT holiday palette had hard pan in all the shimmers. Then it all just suddenly clicked in my brain 🧠
It reminded me of when TheresaIsDead was saying certain shimmers burned her eyes, but that was when she was using setting spray to wet her shimmers. After some viewers mentioned it could be the setting sprays, she switched to regular water and voilá! They no longer burned her eyes :)
I havent seen the look yet but I want to see those matte blues somewhere 💙
