Best speed run spot on all of UA-cam. Awesome video buddy. Most people wouldn't make one lap to be honest. Not at high speed at least.

The wheel on the rear left keeps falling off on my MT10. Now i put a little blue loctite on all corners. Never had problems again.
I have done the same since filming this video👍🏻 Holding up nicely with the blue loctite

Now you have to admit, at those kind of speeds, if anything goes wrong, it's in the shop broken; usually in many pieces. No matter what brand it is. I ran a custom Redcat Lightning into a telephone pole at 65 mph (100 kph) as a 1969 Camaro Z-28, dead center and it split the car in half. Really. But the Camaro body was saved, believe it or not. It sheared all of it's body posts in half and flew off the car. In fact, it didn't even leave a mark. I use Redcat soft plastic body posts for that reason, and they work; a hell of a way to find out. I won't use anodized body posts. So at least I saved 80 dollars. (custom polycarbonate bodies, which also helped cut the posts and custom inside out painted with the entire clear body for the shine) The next time it went out, it was all metal except the body and new Redcat body posts. Everything was metal. And I never hit another pole with it. The next time it went out it also had a gyro in it and would stay on the road, imagine that. Then I upgraded all my cars to Radio Link gyros because they can all go that fast. And remember, these cars are scalers and speed is relative. If a 10th scaler is hitting 55 mph, that's 550 mph in a real car. That two inch rock is a 20 inch rock.
Very true mate. The velocity at speed in these cars are immense when striking a object. Wish is saw that half splitter crash😂
Yes, I put a brushless system in a Ground Pounder, they're very high and heavy. A Ground Pounder could easily break your leg if it hit you. It was stupid to do it and I knew it. Anyway, the first run and I ran it into a heavy thicket at full speed on 3s. Half the truck was destroyed by the branches going in, and the other half of it was destroyed getting it out. And it was totaled. Twisted like a pretzel. Those were the days. LOL What a beautiful track you have. @@techspac3

I didn't even realize I was standing in front of it. Took me out like a shotgun blast. LOL But I didn't break any ribs. Knocked the wind out of me though. But I got lucky. @@techspac3

Seems like the wheels on the v2r out-of-balance you can hear it in the video and see it. What is a good alternative tire and rim for the V2?

Not to trouble you but do you have a part number? Just ordered the truck for my buddy who is one of these slow rock crawler guys. All his friends that live around him are into these slow rock crawlers. I heard him in the corner saying I want something fast it doesn't break easy. These things are almost as of now

Thats a good question...i should get a temp gun and check at some point...i am currently in progress filming a massive video at the Terrordome hahaha thats one not to be missed...should be finished filming by hopefully 2nd week in March then editing starts...gonna be epic👍🏻
did you upgrade the arms on the v2? or were they the stock ones
Stock arms for this run! After i crashed it a replaced the broken one with RPM

@@techspac3 I have the v1 The bonus using the fluoro green wltoys ones is you can see them easier, pretty sure the other colours will work,no way was buying the wholeset for just the links lol.

Idk, that open body on v2 makes me wanna cry esp since I've wanted the mt10 for a while but can only now get it. Sucks that all the v1 body shells are also out of stock, or inflated lol
There is still a couple new MT 10 V1 available in Aus & NZ for what it is worth, if you really want one😉

You should be running it the other direction, it may not want to tip as much
Its quite tricky to steer around the Velodrome, especially with sonething that was not really meant to be running around it🤣 so i have figure out the clockwise routine a little bit so that works for me....i think there will be more crashes should i go anticlockwise🤣🤣🤣
