    Please note that you do not need to stack the flanges as mentioned in the video. Simply choose the correct flange insert size and insert that into the flange. Sorry for any confusion!

    Omgosh I didn't know you had to slide the lip of the diaphragm OVER that piece or that you had to stack the flange inserts! I think my experience is about to be enhanced just with these two changes!! Thank you so much for this video!!

      So glad it was helpful!! I do have to apologize though, you actually do not need to stack the inserts for the M5 like I said in the video! Simply use the 1 flange insert with the correct size you need.
      But yes you definitely want the lip of the diaphragm to slide over as that will help ensure your suction is working properly :)

    • @pumpingmilk
      @pumpingmilk  2 місяці тому

      Everybody is different, so what works for one person will be different for another. My tips are to make sure you have the correct flange size and your bra is secure so you have adequate suction. Then have a play with different settings. You may respond better to the faster stimulation suctions or to a slow and low setting. You can also try power pumping to increase milk suply ua-cam.com/video/baKXKkMwUZY/v-deo.html

      The Momcozy manual only recommends boiling for sterilization as the temperatures of a sterilzer can damage or discolor the pump parts. Some people still choose to use a sterilizer on a low temp setting, but you'll probably void your warranty.

    • @pumpingmilk
      @pumpingmilk  5 місяців тому +1

      It is a mix of the shorter suctions from the stimulation mode and longer suctions of the expression mode. It can also vibrate at the same time to loosen the milk ducts when pumping - potential benefits are more milk faster and better drainage to help prevent mastitis or engorgement.

    How can you tell it’s on correctly, as it’s impossible to see if your nipple is aligned down the middle of the flange

    • @pumpingmilk
      @pumpingmilk  Рік тому +2

      Thanks for asking! There are a few ways to know your pump in on properly and the flange is the correct fit other than just a visual.These include:
      You're not experiencing pain in your nipple or discolloration (i.e. a white circle at the base of the nipple or your nipple blanched).
      You can also feel to make sure that there are no areas of the breast that still have milk inside (which indicates the uneven removal of milk).
      Hopefully this helps 😊

    Some says it is not good for elastic nipples…. What is your opinion?

    • @pumpingmilk
      @pumpingmilk  5 місяців тому

      I don't recommend this for elastic nipples as the flange tunnel is quite short. The S9 Pro or S12 Pro are the only Momcozy pumps I'd recommend for elastic nipples as the tunnel is much longer.

    My daughter has bought these . Does anyone know if you can mix between breast milk and formula from birth.?

    • @pumpingmilk
      @pumpingmilk  9 місяців тому

      It's possible, but I highly recommend that your daughter speak with their health care professional and lactation consultant for specific advice.

    Is it just at me or i dont even feel that is pulling or sucking any of the milk. I dont see no dron in the compartment. So i just paid some money to buy it for nothing. I have so much milk and this pump doesnt have any power to suck it out

    • @pumpingmilk
      @pumpingmilk  4 місяці тому +1

      Sorry youre having issues! If you're not getting any milk output, it sound like you may have an air leak or your flange sizing might not be right. If don't think either of these are an issue I'd reach out to Momcozy support as yiu should be getting some milk output.

    Does the inserts that you showed in your video comes with it?

    • @pumpingmilk
      @pumpingmilk  7 місяців тому

      Yes, my kit came with the inserts 😊
      Just as a note in the video, I said you need to stack your inserts, but you can actually just use the 1 insert with your correct size. No need to stack them.

      Hopefully, this does the trick for you! Just a note, I know I mentioned in the video to stack the flange inserts. You can actually just choose your correct size and use just the 1 flange insert 😊

    Hi
    My wife use it, but the milk go out just a little and we are so disappointed.
    Can you tell us a secret please?? ❤

    • @pumpingmilk
      @pumpingmilk  11 місяців тому +1

      Thanks for reaching out! Sorry you're having issues. My first step is to check all the seals and make sure it is assembled correctly. After that, start with your massage mode for 2 mins to initiate your letdown, then switch modes to your expression. Start on a low suction level and then slowly build up based on your comfort levels. The highest suction might not give you the best results.
      You may have to play around with the different settings to find what works best.
      Also make sure you are drinking plenty of water to help with milk production.
