For destiny 1 yes, but Destiny 2, now is is probably one of the best times to join. I do suggest joining a community if you start playing. Some good youtubers are Fallout Plays, Datto, Aztecross, mylein games and my name is Byf for lore, cammycakes, chibirobo12, I could keep going but start with those I would say I know in the description of I think most of his videos aztecross has a discord so you can join that to get yourself into a community and almost all the ones I mentioned stream on twitch. So pick up destiny 2 whenever you want and get yourself into a community and HAVE FUN! Fun is always better together. 😊 Hope this helped

@Gamerz Idol neh, The best character they had in the game to me was Nathan Fillion and Peter Dinklage, not sure if they just decided they didn’t wanna pay them anymore or what but they got rid of both of them. At the very least they gave Cade/Nathan a glorious death in the game. But yeah , They killed him off and that’s the end of that. If it’s any consolation , not to spoil anything here but they kill his murderer which is prince Aldrin… Of course they bring him back though and revive him so yeah😑 But Nathan’s gone 👎
@Gamerz Idol I wish bro, but I don’t think Bungie can afford Nathan or want to spend the money to hire him again for whatever reason. Because story/lore Wise, they ended him. They didn’t want to leave any room for speculation there and they gave him a funeral in the game which no one else has ever gotten like that. They wanted to cement it so that during that DLC/story it would have more impact and mean more to the player. And especially since Activision and bungee separated, now Bungie definitely does not have the money or resources to hire Nathan. Heck Nathan and Peter were involved in destiny when Activision was still in control of Bungie. Activision has the money, and Bungie has a different direction that they always intended for the story. So now Bungie has the freedom to pursue that on a lesser budget which is freedom in and of it’s self, but that just further cements that Nathan‘s involvement in destiny is done. Like the joker said, if you’re good at something never do it for free😉 Bungie intended for prince Aldrin to not stay dead because they were planning to use him later in the story and where they’re taking everything, which is why at the end of the for sake in the story they drop hints and show him coming back to life. They never intended that for Cade, and so they really cemented that side of his story. It sucks, people have excepted it and moved on but it still sucks
