All that carnage and destruction, only for it to happen again 20 years later but worse. The poor men who went through the awful condition of trench warfare only to be mostly forgotten and “outshined” (Don’t know how else to put it) by a different war. Rest in peace.

BF1 is the best in the BF series. We don't care about weapon customizing, but the setting and impressions are all we needed

Games like these make me want to meet my grandpa, born during ww1, fought in France in ww2 and survived until 2009 from old age or cancer. He grew up with all the big wars

Then ww2 came along and we went from trench warfare to nuclear weapons
And even now in Ukraine there is still trench warfare
I find it is fascinating that we are still using tactics in a war that isn’t forgotten but most people don’t know that much about because of World War Two

Yeah in Ukraine we have trench warfare and some cities like Verdun in 1916. But war is very horrible, dirty and brutal. Real war don't look as nice and easy as in Butterfield. The real war can be seen in the faces twisted with fear and hopelessness. In the tears of widows and mothers who lost their son defending his homeland. In children's weeping and cries whose mother's lie buried in the rubble of their former home. In the eyes of Ukrainian defenders, who protecting not only Ukraine, but the entire civilized world from the real fascists. I can give many more examples, but l don't have time for this because again the roar of the siren and the air alarm signal are heard outside the window...

The sad part of the Great War was that it was also called the war to end all wars but it ended nothing but young men’s lives.
If it makes you feel better, it did end something. The “Glory” in war, now sane nations are more hesitant to go to war when its not easy.

@3:56. That's the true evil of war. These guys don't hate each other. They where forced into combat and by pure luck they met each other on the battlefield. There's no C.O.s and the two guys just didn't want any trouble, so both of them lowered their weapons. I like to think that they sat down with each other and lit up a cigarette

To me this game is what a "love letter to the community" is supposed to be.
I've watched this three times already. The edit you've done with this video was perfect, it goes perfectly with this rendition of SNA. I found myself hooked to this. Every cut and every fade from clip to clip was perfect. I would vote this to be the best version of the BF1 SNA edits yet. Now after writing this, I find myself rewatching it for the 5th time.

Battlefield 1 was one of, if not still the best war game ever developed, and this video proves it.
They fought for their countries, for their families, friends, everything. No matter if they were German, French, British, Austro-Hungarian, Russian, Italian, Serbian, Ottoman, Bulgarian, Belgian, Indian or whatever ethnicity they were or whatever banner they fought under, they all gave their lives fighting.
The British at the Somme, the French at Verdun, the Ottoman at Gallipoli, the Germans at the Marne, the Austrians and Italians at the Izonso, the Russians at the Carpathians, the Serbs on the Danube, the Bulgarians in the Valley of Death, they fought for the world we live in now and we should always remember their stories, their past, their memories. No matter what nation they fought for and what that nation did. We should always remember them.

The Gameplay And Atmosphere In Battlefield 1 is unmatched in any other game, I still play it till this day Playing Verdun Heights and Paschendeale as a German Stormtrooper with MP18 🔥🔥🥵🥵

Close your eyes while listening and listen to the music imagining how many soldiers sacrificed themselves and fighted for our country to protect it the war is not always the ansenwer we got the great war.. The beginning is the best that I've seen ever
every damn scene in this video is like actual gameplay, each time one plays bf1 and knows how to enjoy a game they get engulfed in a movie like fight forgetting everything around him, just focusing on the moment. the screams of "MEDIC!" behind you as you revive a teammate, the "NEED BACKUP" as you run towards the enemy, the fear filling "ENEMY TANK AHEAD" as you turn around running away knowing that youll die if you dont run away from that metal made monstrosity.

it does, inherently it is what drives war. People invent or innovate, and they must test what they create. And the constant recreation of the ideals and moves of war means once someone innovates, they will use thagt superiority in a war. War has to change, or war does not exist.
