The amount of progress you’ve made over the years is immense man. I remember back in the day when you were making vids of ur model railroad, the Trainz vids, and all the early stuff. Now you’re making some super high quality stuff, and my god does it look amazing. Keep up the fantastic work!
Thank you very much for such a nice and thoughtful comment! I really appreciate it! While I often would rather not look back to the early days, I am glad you have enjoyed seeing what I consider to be an improvement in videos. Thanks again, and I am glad you enjoy my videos!
Mark, This is a video you should be proud of. It is an excellent documentation of a day on the Nevada Northern that showcases not just the locomotive itself, but people who make it happen as well as the scenery the railroad runs through. It felt like I was along for the ride!
Joe, Thank you very much for such kind words! That was exactly my goal with this film. Unfortunately, many railfans and photographers often overlook or even forget about this remarkable railroad. By providing them a look into what a day on the Nevada Northern is like, I hopefully can captivate others to the allure of the railroad, ultimately leading to many considering the Nevada Northern as one of the premiere railroads in the country. I am glad you enjoyed!
Great video, Mark! Easily one of the best videos of the Nevada Northern I've seen! I have a feeling this video is trying to convince me to buy a plane ticket to Nevada 😆
Thank you very much, Roger! That was exactly my goal with this film. I wanted to immerse the viewers in what a day on the Nevada Northern is like. And I am glad you liked not having narration! I think the scenes tell the story better than any narration would. Thanks for watching!
Haha, good eye. The way the railroad is set up only allows the full train to be turned on the wye at Keystone. Because of this, every other trip will have the coaches (or caboose) behind the tender.
My son is special needs and he loves trains 🚆🚃🚄🚅🚇🚈🚉🚝🚞🛤🚊🚋🚂 they're one of his favorite things in the whole world 🌎. He finds the Nevada Northern Railway museum very interesting and hopes the entire line to McGill is restored and the line into the mines and 4-6-0 #40 overhaul is finished real soon.

I am glad seeing Nevada Northern 81 (Built by Baldwin Locomotive Works in 1917) back in April 16th 2023. Where I did the cab ride.
Maybe upload something then you can talk

Mega Cooles Video. 👍 Dankeschön dafür. Liebe Grüße aus Deutschland 👋 Gruß Roland 👋 😊
Great catches and awesome video
Thank you!
This is easily your best work yet and easily the best coverage of this railroad! Very well done!
Thank you very much, Joe! Glad you enjoyed!
Such beautiful cinematography! And that whistle sounds amazing I may be biased though because most of my favorite engines have a similar sound
Thank you! I also really like the whistle.

Thank you, Ben! I cannot recommend enough visiting, it’s awesome.
Outstanding video. A great view of the NN from early morning preparations through the daily operation. Loved not having narration!

Love the Firebox.
Just like an old fashioned pizza oven, but way bigger and way hotter.
@@T128Productions and did you love the Santa Fe 6 chime.
NIIIIIICE!!!!!
Thank you, Scott!
Sounds like 3751 and 2926
It sounds more like Milwaukee Road #261
@@SuperFoxyRailwayProduction6702yes that too
This trip goes up to copper flats, right? or do they not go there anymore? I'm just curious
Currently, excursions only go as far as the wye at Keystone.
what camera and mic did you use?
This was filmed with the Canon EOS R and 24-105 F4L lens and the Zoom H8 mic
the mic sounds good
Is that bituminous or anthracite coal?
The Nevada Northern uses bituminous coal.
Are more videos coming soon?
I upload videos as they are completed.
