The best fireplace video ever, hands down. The combination of slightly distant storm and fireplace is perfect. The sounds of the storm make you want to warm yourself by the fire. The fire's flames don't flicker too fast like some videos. And the crackling of the fireplace is subtle enough but soothing. 10/10!!

I love this sound. Growing up in a terraced house in the 1960`s with no central heating the fire place was the main form of heat. During the cooler time of year dad would get up and get the fire going. Me and my brother would roll newspaper up and form a knot so it would burn slower. Dad would get the kindle and coal from the outhouse and would light and "bank" the fire. Then using a poker and a sheet of the News of the World would cover the fire place to draw the air up from beneath the grate to get the fire going. We would watch the newspaper slowly catch fire from the middle like the map on the TV series Bonanza. One Christmas we were having family round so dad lit both living room and front room fires. The heat from both fires was so intense that it burst the balloons we had pinned to the ceiling as part of the decorations. We had to open the front door to let the heat out! We were the only house in the street with no snow on the roof. I spent many summer night waiting for the flash then counting till I heard the bang. I would not sleep until I heard the last rumble. Great memories. Thanks. ZZZZZZZZZZZZ
We used to sprinkle sugar on when it was struggling to get going, remember that? Peat burns hotter than anything I've ever seen. Had a cole fire and a coke fire, the boiler would bang so loud we'd have to run the hot tap to calm it down! Those were the days. It's sad that we can't burn fires anymore. Remember walking to school in the '70's and the smell of coal hanging in the air, it was lovely. I was missing a real fire so much, that I actually did a hike to a bothy in Northumberland just to play with the fireplace!

When I saw this video and listendes to it I was a waxed the atmosphere was utter perfection with the whines of wind and that purring fire create such a warm atmosphere and it was even better when I was settled in my warm blanket with hot chocolate beside me it was all punctuated by those deep rolls of thunder with the visual it was so perfect.This gave me a very calm heart so with my brain I settled in and soon I’m gonna be drifted o& in a soothing sleep

I grew up in San Antonio, TX. We had a LOT of thunderstorms. We lived in a very solid, stone house with a fireplace. Those sounds are incredibly comforting to me. I now live in South Korea. People here spend a lot of time outside chatting…under my window, it seems, lol. THIS video makes it possible to fall asleep quickly if I need a nap or…just sleep on busy nights. Thank you.

Nicely done! Most mixes sounds like the rain is pouring in from a big hole in the roof and you can't hear the fire. it sounds like your actually indoors with the rain outside and you can hear the cozy fire!

This takes me back to my childhood and the place i grew up the fireplace was my favorite place to spend time and i remember all the chopped firewood that i used to help mom bring in and the fires at Christmas time, getting warm after sled riding and ghost stories, and many more memories that this video has helped me remember those days time marches on and now my grandchildren are enjoying this and more memories are being made. Nicely done! Most mixes sounds like the rain is pouring in from a big hole in the roof and you can't hear the fire. it sounds like your actually indoors with the rain outside and you can hear the cozy fire!

This takes me back to my childhood and the place i grew up the fireplace was my favorite place to spend time and i remember all the chopped firewood that i used to help mom bring in and the fires at Christmas time, getting warm after sled riding and ghost stories, and many more memories that this video has helped me remember those days time marches on and now my grandchildren are enjoying this and more memories are being made. I will subscribe.this has helped me remember those happy days ❤❤❤ the fireplace keeping my grand children warm as ut did me so long ago
