I have used this video every night for a prolonged period of time to go to sleep. I have had insomnia for years, but when I lay my head down on the pillow, I clear my mind, relax my body, and listen to the video and I always quickly fall asleep. I would say in less than 5 minutes. Nice" You slightly startle yourself as you realize you haven't heard anything but inhuman howls and the drums of leaves as the lay in battle with an uncaring sky for what seemed too long. And decide to disturb your rest at the thought of something warm to drink. Reaching into your bag, kept close by just in case. You find the familiar touch of your canteen and juuust the right little premade kit you were looking for. Mere minutes later. Reclining on the couch, you cup your mug in your hand as you raise it to your lips. The warm scented tendrils slinking passed your lips as you take a nice warm sip. You feel the cold slowly retreating back, as the comes to a wrest in your lap. With Fett propped up on a small ottoman. Covered in blankets you say again softly... "How nice"
Though it's nearing winter now, 11/19/2016, this is a unique combo! Kinda of makes it feel as though it's a "thunder snow". Brilliantly relaxing and that's what it's all about.

It is brilliant but the only thing is the sharp crackling of the fire is distracting to me and I wish that part was turned down and less prominent. I like the fire but the loud cracks are a bit too loud to me.
Been watching and listening to this for 3+ years or so and never get tired of it! My cat loves the sparks that fly upward. She sits watching it all until she can't resist the urge to bat at one and it is a touch-screen...so you know what happens then...love it all! Much thanks!

This is at the top of the list now. At work with paperwork, home writing my book, or having this on our big TV during holidays. It's also the perfect time duration! It also brings up great memories of my Dad. He passed away in April. He always had a fire going in the workshop, and we all, always gathered next to the fire. Thanks for this.
We just arrived to our room after the wedding reception. The Bride and Groom are on their way to their honeymoon (Jamaica I think) but we are here. They may be on their way to a tropical paradise but I am happy to be here with my significant other. We will enjoy popcorn cooked on this wonderful fireplace, a movie, and later snuggling under the covers listening to the wonderful sounds of this marvelous storm.
I'm making a play list of fire places. So far I think I like this one the best. Mainly because when I have all the lights off and I'm sitting back in my easy chair watching it and listening to it in the dark with my noise cancelling headphones on. It makes me feel almost as if I'm at my cabin sitting in front of my fire place there. Though when I'm at my cabin I'm just lucky when I get the storm to go with it. More than once at the cabin I've woken up to storms in the middle of the night and got up and made a fire so I could enjoy the experience of the storm and fireplace combination in the dark. It's very nice that I can turn this on and always have the storm to go with it any time I want. The fire light just doesn't flicker the walls as much as the real thing. Or the awesome lightning bolts that briefly light the cabin up. But other than that It's a wonderful simulation of the experience. I slept all night last night with this fire going. And it was a nice relaxing way to wake up to as well. Seeing it and hearing it.

The wind howled and thunder belted our surroundings, but all was calm. The fire, large and crackling shared the same burning heat that our passion did. and as I looked around the room full of extraordinary people I realized that there was nowhere else I'd rather be than there. Last night, I put this on my 13 inch TV and put it on the bottom shelf of my book case in my bed room. I fell asleep with my headphones on ( my husband SNORES) Because it was playing on a screen and I had it on repeat, it never stopped . It is brilliant but the only thing is the sharp crackling of the fire is distracting to me and I wish that part was turned down and less prominent. I like the fire but the loud cracks are a bit too loud to me.
Been watching and listening to this for 3+ years or so and never get tired of it! My cat loves the sparks that fly upward. She sits watching it all until she can't resist the urge to bat at one and it is a touch-screen...so you know what happens then...love it all! Much thanks!
I am glad others still watch these videos too. The creator/uploader hasn’t made any new videos or posted in years. And there are now many different types of these ambience/relaxation/asmr type videos. But we still keep coming back to these simple tried and trusted ones. 😊

It's also the perfect time duration!
It also brings up great memories of my Dad.
He passed away in April. He always had a fire going in the workshop, and we all, always gathered next to the fire.

We just arrived to our room after the wedding reception. The Bride and Groom are on their way to their honeymoon (Jamaica I think) but we are here. They may be on their way to a tropical paradise but I am happy to be here with my significant other. We will enjoy popcorn cooked on this wonderful fireplace, a movie, and later snuggling under the covers listening to the wonderful sounds of this marvelous storm.
This is what those of us who grew up on farms are familiar with, & sometimes greatly miss.
I'm making a play list of fire places. So far I think I like this one the best. Mainly because when I have all the lights off and I'm sitting back in my easy chair watching it and listening to it in the dark with my noise cancelling headphones on. It makes me feel almost as if I'm at my cabin sitting in front of my fire place there. Though when I'm at my cabin I'm just lucky when I get the storm to go with it. More than once at the cabin I've woken up to storms in the middle of the night and got up and made a fire so I could enjoy the experience of the storm and fireplace combination in the dark. It's very nice that I can turn this on and always have the storm to go with it any time I want. The fire light just doesn't flicker the walls as much as the real thing. Or the awesome lightning bolts that briefly light the cabin up. But other than that It's a wonderful simulation of the experience. I slept all night last night with this fire going. And it was a nice relaxing way to wake up to as well. Seeing it and hearing it.

The wind howled and thunder belted our surroundings, but all was calm. The fire, large and crackling shared the same burning heat that our passion did. and as I looked around the room full of extraordinary people I realized that there was nowhere else I'd rather be than there. Huddled around the fire, bodies pressed and mugs of velvet chocolate drink clasped between our hands, nature rumbling along outside of us, feeding the plants with its life giving nectar we so often take for granted. I never wanted for that moment to end.

In my mind, I see myself in a rocking chair with a hot cuppa chocolate and cosy warm slippers, looking out of the window at the storm and then gazing into the fire being mesmarised (Not sure if I spelt that right) by the flames and the logs burning. Now feeling warm and sleepy. Thank you for brining my memories back.

@@wk1810 It makes me think that I am in a log cabin during the fall/winter relying on firewood to stoke the heat and an oil lamp to light the cabin!! So I'll be cooking a pot of beans on my wood stove.

Last night, I put this on my 13 inch TV and put it on the bottom shelf of my book case in my bed room. I fell asleep with my headphones on ( my husband SNORES) Because it was playing on a screen and I had it on repeat, it never stopped . And when I woke up a few times it honestly looked like I had a fire going. It was PERFECT! My husband woke up and was afraid there was a fire. That was hilarious.
