    Daniel and Lisa the Moog Whisperer - who could ask for more?

    Lisa is a total wizard…
    Her records are crazy good. Deep modular synth tapestries with virtuoso moog solos. She seems quite reserved here!

    Oh wow, my 2 favourite synth people in the one video. I'm currently going through Daniels Synth clips as well as his deep dive on Subsequent 37 and Matriarch, i got the both of these for great deals about 2 months ago. Found Lisa about that time and immediately was so inspired by her music..I love you both, just so you know..Thank you both so much.

      Indeed she is. Her music is never over-Mooged even when it's 100% Moog gear.

    The enthusiasm and knowledge of Daniel Fisher is really inspiring.
    It is obvious he knows and likes the stuff he is talking about. This is true passion. Thank you!
    BTW: I really appreciate your device on Ping Pong Delays.
    Maybe Daniel Fischer or someone else can suggest a Ping Pong Delay Pedal with batteries for my mobile setup.
    Come on: This is a sweetwater channel and I want to get some gear ;-)

    i like that idea about the colored markers on printouts of ROMpler patches. Up to now, i write down the patches that i like which isnt the best system as i have no way to organize that. I have 5 ROMplers (MX88,KromeEX73,JV-2080 w/5 expansion cards,kawaii K4r,korg x50) which total several thousand patches. PLUS i am kicking around getting a MODX+ so ya.

      @budgetguitaristcom Рік тому +3

      That's a cool collection. I have an MX88 too, and the first thing I did was write down a list of patches I like.

    Me: listening to them describe how to do the things they do, on purpose, that I do on accident :)
    edit: I liked hearing Daniel talk about the way neurology and/or physiology comes into play with sound-design (7 mins. in)

    6:44 I'm going to have to try some of these tricks on my unloved Proteus/1 (its sin was it was no match for the U220 but I foolishly settled instead of saving for the Roland). Maybe I can conjour something exciting out of it.

    Even the smallest most basic synthesizer, like the SUB 25… super complex instrument. I couldn’t imagine attempting to patch a moog one or a memory mode. However, the mini moog is too simple. Perfect in its operation. It’s about as simple as it gets, which probably explains why those go for 5,000 each. You’re buying sound quality made simple
