Had my Robin friend for years, feed from my hands and disappeared last Saturday. Think fireworks had something to do with it. I do miss him.
sadly, they don't have a long life-span. I think they live 3-4 years.
@@MonicaAmarillisRossi hi, I read once they survive beyond the first year they can live up to 19 years. 19 is the longest recorded. I've noticed another younger Robin in my last Robins territory. Wonder what happened to his partner, could it be her?

I managed to tame him!!!! It was a long journey, but we did it) everything is possible, just patience..... A lot of patience) I didn't know that with birds it's like with people, you should build a relationship, with dogs and cats it's muuuch easier
Magical huh? Years of experience in handling wild birds, just takes patience and understanding what they are thinking. Towards the end of my time in Switzerland, the one you see on my hand 'Arrow' didn't even eat anything. He just enjoys chilling with me and watching his community, making sure they behave 😂...

To be honest on balance it's not the same robin, usually there all so easily tempted by food it's easy to think it's the same one...
