Hey my friend. I saw this video years ago and copied your technique to make my own. I was so impressed I came up with a crawfish version and it came out perfect. It was so long ago I would have to take it apart to remember how i did it. I just stumbled across them both in my tiny motoryacht and came back to this video to say thanks. I wish there was a way to share a picture of my crawfish with you its pretty good.

I like that people are aware of the problem but they are probably saying that with a plastic soda bottle in hand and a fridge full of plastic in their kitchen.. one straw is not going to kill us, billions of soda and water bottles and other plastic waste will..

You people act like he is just making this just to throw it into the ocean. I don’t think you guys know how a lure works! You tie it on to line! You cast it out! You catch a fish! You take the lure out of the fish’s mouth! AND YOU REUSE THE DAMN LURE!!!!
i dont think you know how fishing works, people lose lures and/or fish eat them. The reason for the concern is because traditional soft plastics use PVC which is a non-biodegradable plastic. This means that the PVC stays in the environment and can even start to build up concentration levels over time.

wow its actually good I would recommend using bigger straws depending on the size you can use this to catch both fish and squid or cuttlefish
