ROBINS are very special little birds. When you they come to you... it is like a blessing... they have a sweet expression and a sweet song. They are to be cherished....
About 2 years ago, I bought an old 1960s Car from the US and imported back to the UK. It took about 3 months to arrive by container ship. It was a cold frosty December morning when it finally arrived here and I went to collect it from the dockside. As I sat in the car, admiring it's interior and assessing what work needed doing to it, a Robin flew up and landed on the wing mirror. It stayed there for ages, completely unfazed by me looking at it through the glass. Ever since then, every time I have the garage doors open and I'm working on the car, a Robin will approach, land on the car and watch me working on it for a while. I have never seen this behaviour with any other bird. I find it very comforting.
I’ve seen one today, I took a couple of pics, I was outside and I’ve seen it it kept coming closer it came close enough, and it flew away and came back and it was looking at me and it flew away again.
OUTSTANDING ! ! ! I always knew there was something special about the family of Robin's I have living near my house. It has always brightened my day when they visit my feeding spot.
I had my Grandmother's funeral today just at the grave side and snow was everywhere from start to finish a little Robin stood at the edge of the hole silently.
I’m an Electrical fitter to trade .I have worked in numerous factory’s ,shipyards and steelworks but mostly built control panels.Of all the panels I’ve worked on I’ll swear to what ever you want to swear me to.More than thirty years had I been building panels when I started a job in a remote part of Renfrew in Scotland. At the time there were only ten panels in a large factory sitting alone. The panel I was working on some how received a wee Robin on the top of it.Must admit I had been feeding my dear wee friend at tea breaks but for this special Robin to land on the top of the panel I had been working on was quite suspicious as I was no where near the panel at the time,Three days later my Mother passed away after suffering a long time illness. Yes Robins have a special place in my heart.I will always try and befriend the wee cheeky chap’s even although they might be calling for me next time.Beautiful Friend.🎶sing🎶
My Dobey died nearly a month ago, he wasn't even 7. From 7 weeks until 6 years and 7 months he was by my side 20-22 hours a day. To call him my shadow would be an understatement. Recently a robin has been really curious. He's come and sat on the kitchen mat twice and once on the sofa. The same spot my dog would sit. We've seen many robins, especially when gardening but nothing like this.
I visited my chur h today on holy Friday and I thought I caught a glimpse of a bird n went to take a second look the maintenance man asked what did I see I said awh nothing, and he said oh I thought you might have seen the robin . The robin finds his way into the church he was at 2 funerals and the last Sunday mass he keeps appearing I didn't know it was a sign of rebirth!!! It being Easter this Sunday!!! And also at the 2 funerals. I'm not a mass goer I light my candles and pray to my lived ones but this has opened my heart what a beautiful message xxxxxx
Nice! A bird came into my church at Easter, a very rare breed I don’t know what it was. It was during the mass. I don’t know how it got in but it went straight to the top of the large crucifix above the altar, landed on it for a few seconds and then flew off and disappeared, I don’t know how it got our either!!!
My brother and I went to the grave because it was my and my husbands Anniversary, it was raining, and as soon as I said happy Anniversary raymond tons of Robin's came out and some on the tree singing it was amazing 🙏😇
We have a robin in our church he appears lately around Easter and 2 funerals it's holy Friday today I was lightning a candle and told about the to in its amazing being around Easter and funerals xxxxx
Oh my. I stumbled upon this video and am so impressed. I'm from Ohio and moved to Arizona years ago. Miss the Robin birds so much cuz they were everywhere. The blue jay and cardinals too. Soo seeing the meaning of the Robin bird makes me happy that I was named Robyn and my heart and soul is there! God bless all and prayers in these trying times.
Robin reminds me of my father who passed a long time ago. Every time I see robin I think of him. Thank you for this! I didn't know about the symbolism of robin.
It was Friday when I sat on my porch and behind me hear the sound of a early born bird. I didn't knew where it came from or what bird it was. It seems to be a Robin and was born in my decorative hanging wicker basket. This basket I had put at one of my Wooden doors from my Cabin. Oh dear I thought what to do or not and I hear the mother bird make some alarming sounds. It was weeks ago when a noticed that a Robin was picking wool from my blanket what lay on my seat from the picknick table. So now I connected the dots, hihi.........I didn't remove the basket and when I was on the porch I noticed that mom was of course nearby and held a close eye on me and her surrounding. For me the last two years weren't easy and many difficulties I came across so now with th new birth of the Robin so nearby I feel positive changes are on the way! So blessed with her and her little one.
I had to take my beloved rabbit (Buddy) to the vet yesterday. He had already passed at home, and me and my girlfriend wanted one more look at his perfect little face, so placed him on the passenger seat of my car. Ellen (my girlfriend) then spotted a Robin, who was sat about a metre away looking at us for about 5-10 seconds before flying away. I’ve never been particularly open to this kind of thing, but they are so beautiful and I see them so rarely. It felt like too much of a co-incidence.
Coujo, I may have made a mistake in thinking you used the word angle when you meant angel. A cute angle is a play on acute angle (less than 90 degrees). Sorry for being a smart arse. I once had a little girl in my class whose name was Wendy Angel. She often wrote angle as angel so I called he Wendy Angle.
I now have had a robyn watching me for days while I feed the squirrels. Today I spoke to it and lime a dog it taised its head and tilted it as if it were istening. As I spoke it didn't move one feacther and I thought surley its neck hurts. I began to wonder if it had a heart attack cause it literally didn't move so I walked towards it, no movement and just as I became a cpl feet away it flew up on the fence. I waited a minute and watched it fly under my gutter where it now has a nest. Thia bird has been watching me for days.. Thank you for sharing this info, I had no Idea about red robbins. I also have red Cardonals in my back yard.. ❤️🙏🏻
Cool I have a Robin nest over my pouch bench .the nest and mom built it in our window wreath about my bench she is more trusting with us as time is going put some meal worms out on my table now she sits next to me to grab some grub . Pop rip passed March 20th.
2 robins come in my garden daily I feed them They sit on my fence looking at me not scared one bit I guarantee morning when I put food out they’ll be here within 5 mins they come all day long a pair
There are about 12 robins at my house 5 of which eat of my hand and 1 even goes into my room (i dont keep him there he leaves when he wants) followed by over 20 chaffinches 7 great tits 6 blue tits 2 thrushes 4 blackbirds 9 jay birds 3 pheasants 3 wood piggeons 2 bullfinches and we even had deer come by!
I'm looking at red robins videos I'm trying to get an idea how to protect them from crows, during spring/summer a bunch of them make nests around my house and I have to be on the watch because crows are always trying to get them. nice video
Do crows eat them? I have a Robin in our garden it’s become our friend he sits on our fence and watches us even looks into our home if door is open but last couple of days he’s not been seen we have many crows here too I hope he’s ok
@@TASIAawful1 Crows take the babies, every year we have Robin nests in our backyard, I usually check to make sure they are ok, one day one of the nests that recently had baby robins was empty, I went to check my security cameras and to my horror, I saw how the crow took a baby robin, I'm not sure if they took the rest or the mom was able to move them, honestly I didn't want to see the rest of the video it was too painfull to watch. Since then, If I know we have nests in our property and I hear Crows I go outside to scare them away. I've learned that crows communicate if they see something they are interested in and in my area its nests, plus Robins will make a lot of noise if they see danger near their nests. as per my research crows hate shiny objects so I put plenty of old cd's around my deck during nest season but still I go outside to let them know they are not welcome. good luck.
Robin birds will seek humans proximity regardless of their family or private situation because they learned to associate their presence outdoors with field and garden work and the worms and insects that are being dug up which they feed on. Also, they start ignoring the heck out of people as soon as the mating season begins, because they are too busy with calling after female birds (or listening to male birds and building nests) to honour you with their attention or to even eat for the bigger part of the day.
I just recently bought a feeder and there was one robin that came daily was such a magical feeling. ..Sadly my cat killed a robin at night brought it in the house. I was deeply saddened does this have any symbolic meaning.
I litrelly just had a robin join me whilst I was researching ways of growing my youtube channel just now. I always look up symbolism and meanings of such things going on around me. Like before I started this morning I see the number 1111.
i have a robin that comes to me almost every time im gardening to scavenge for food and seems very tame so tame that it just flew into the house...and im talking it flew into a crack from a window like a awning window...i watched it go to the window go down then up stay for a bit as we watched it then it went a bit mental realising it could not leave...i have not seen it for a while im hoping it comes back.. sometimes i do see the robin with another robin :)
A pair of robins built a nest on my house. We found the nest fallen and baby birds cast out twice. I even hand fed them the second time. We reinforced the thing the nest is on and could only hope Momma bird would come back (she was always watching us). Yes, she and dad are back for sure, dad patrols the perimeter of their real estate, and I can see at least two lively chicks up in the nest. I don't know how long the chicks were out of the nest but thank goodness they fell on a pile of leaves and the cat and other predators didn't come across them. I hope this is auspicious! In addition I feel my late mom's presence in the kitchen by her photo and think it's no coincidence they chose the corner by the kitchen (out of all the other good places to roost on the house). :)
