great, no good, hell yes
Just learned today the Sofia Metro wasn't started until the late 1990s and compared to other world Metros is basically brand spanking new....it still looks so new & clean!
Yes the First Line was Open in 1998.
Athens one opened 2000.

Looks like the Moscow metro
Our metro trains is from Russia.
Our metro stations are more beautiful than Moscow metro

Good video! I'll be taking the metro from the airport to Hadzhi Dimitar later this month.
The train motor sound sounds like our Singapore MRT train model C751B, C151A, C151B and C151C!
I think it is more similar to Toyo IGBT
Do you think, which country made this train for Sofia?
This specific train is from russia but there are also other ones
@@Kretay I know that, because I live in Russia and I've ridden these trains many times. And they always have jokes. Then the car will detach, then the wiring will light up and so on. But this is understandable. In Russia, trains are 15-20 years old, and in Bulgaria 10
Oh well I have never experienced or heard anything like that
I definitely like the sounds of announcements in sofia
bulgarian language is awesome, especially when u r russian
Не
Me too.
I love how the announcements on the Bulgarian metro are almost exactly like the ones in Russia, except in their language. It sounds very similar to: "Осторожно! Двери закрываются. Следующая станция..." I'm American btw but I just happen to watch trains from all over the world.
@@233CFH yeah, the words "Следующая станция..." are almost the same
both languages are slavic though, despite the fact that my russian is from eastern group and bulgarin is from southern
Looks so clean and civilised... wow
This is at night.
What do you mean by civilised haha?
That's because it is 😉
Good
Very strange sounds, it don’t like our SAME trains
You can also have a Sofia transport card except for these single ride tickets, can't you?
yep!
Yes.

What is the capacity of a three car train set of type 81-740.2B/741.2B? Higher than that of four carriage train set of type 81-717.4/714.4, isn't it?
Yes

@@kamenkolev5874 ok
@@kamenkolev5874 It's newer and cleaner...though the Moscow Metro's stations are much older and more ornate.
