Serdica (Сердика) is a station on the lines M1, M2 and M4.
The station opened on October 31, 2000 - the M2 platform (Serdica II) opened on August 31, 2012.
Architecture (Source: metropolitan.bg):
Serdica I: The architectural layout is a unique combination of modern treatment of antiques discovered above the station and modern architectural outlook. It consists of pink granite flooring, walls faced with stone and stain planes and suspended ceiling with corrugated perforated components. The design is created by arch. Kr. Andreev.
Serdica II: Architectural interior design seeks to maintain the impаct of the massive tunnel space, where are situated the platforms and vestibules. For this purpose, used in the upper parts cladding, are with simple shapes and volumes, and retain the utmost extent of the space and shape of the tunnel. The platform adjacent longitudinal walls to a height of about two meters are designed as plastic-like crystalline structures volumes, lined with polished tiles in dark beige. They are provided with seats and glass windows with spectacular local lighting, containing authentic exhibits related to the topic of ancient Serdica. Arched part of the tunnel is formed by aluminum composite panels with rich warm color to elevate and "warm" the powerful underground space. This section is provided with the main lighting system, such as the type and location of lighting fixtures allow passengers to adopt the entire volume of space, which in places reaches a height of nine meters above the level of the platform. Flooring tiles are combined from two warm colors. Architectural design: arch. Krasen Andreev.

I'm from sofia btw and also I every day ride to serdika but only in working days so... yeah I very much love the metro

Platform screen doors .... the Lidl-version 😎😇 And a water fountain inside a mezzanine/ticket hall .... also a first 👍👌😲 The deep level station is spacious, but the lights on the ceiling look like the x-mas lights hung up by my granny 🙄🌲🤫
I haven't seen a water fountain inside a metro station myself!
Google says there is another one inside Jamsil station in Seoul, but to me it rather looks like the fountain is part of a mall...
