You won't be finding those dimes in your pocket from change given to back at a store. I never saw one until my family left 2 and an old barber dime. I'm taking them this week to get them confirmed and evaluated. I'm no collecter...but this is history I don't want to melt stuff for Cash alone. I'd like to give someone who collects this stuff the opportunity to own it in their collection. I'm really in need of the money right now as things are hard now. I'm 58 I weigh 93lbs. I wanna eat more I can't eat the coins. I've so many coins. My mate passed during covid being alone is hard. I'm overwhelmed. Half dollars 1950 's up. Sachauweias about 13. Gold quarters, reg. Quarters, state quarters, dimes, nickles, pennies 1920 and up all in VERY reasonable shape for their age to compliment any. Collection. Go to heritage auction website and see where a location is near you ..... make an appointment and take them up there. If you put them through their auction, they will grade them.
@janicesmith1131 Janice I appreciate that. But I spoke to several coin places they say these shows are not true what I have is just a bunch of old coins to spend... junk so to speak. I would think old original coins are worthy due to their age. I've a lady liberty coin it's 104 years old and still has the picture of the lady on it the date is faded not legible but anyone could tell it's an old original coin. I've pennies wheat beginning 1890 and up that in good shape collectors may not be able to get their hands on an original. They want coins like new that have been in a holder all its life. That's how it survived. Dirty money it's called , used coins. I don't have 60 bucks or more for every old coin I have I can't afford that. This is wasteful. I could melt it all but there history here... I'm so angry all the hours I've put into these coins. I feel now for nothing... but ty..

Oh, I know that all too well people say to me if you had no bad luck you wouldn’t have any luck at all. But I don’t think that way anymore and I don’t let them prophesy that over me now I say my bad luck, my good luck! And since then I have come to the realization that if it wasn’t for my bad luck for what the world called it succeeded or exceeded something that didn’t realize at that moment was going to be as important as it is for my future!
I was seeing that in these videos as well. And then I remembered that UA-cam messes with a lot of videos and they’ll do that on purpose or hackers. Do that on purpose or what have you because they don’t want people to know certain things or hear certain things! Just a thought to keep in mind that’s all…..
The first video explains the 1988 d dime I have. It's first stamped then electroplated? It's not normal but has a completely copper center but is odd silvery on the sides so edge is copper completely and the face and reverse is not shinny but silverish

Very confusing. The photo was 1918 dime but the explanation was for 2018 and so with the succeeding 1917 and 1916.
