As much as i loved budokai 3 i have to disagree, it was the furthest from the show's feel actually. The fighting itself was very slow, tenkaichi 3 was pretty close but nowhere perfect, they had to use a formula similar to Zone of the Enders to capture the show's signiture fast pace combat.
Budokai 3 was slow but very well-balanced and fun for a fighting game. It and Budokai 1's story mode were miles better than Tenkaichi's, and the music too. Tenkaichi 3 had a lot of characters and it played like the show, but balance went out the window.

budokai 2 has the best story mode ever. You can literally beat the bosses with any character
Android 17's is my favorite. Love how they captured 17 and 18's coordination together. Plus that rain of blasts is simple but epic.
My favorite attack is from Vegeta, I like how He connects, His Big Bang attack with another power and He says welcome to oblivion.
