Gosh I love your manicure! Stunning!
thank you🖤
It will be interesting to see what happens now Lamy is under new ownership.
Maybe they will have a japanese safari a slimmer and mini versions 😂
I'm hoping for an all brass or all steel Safari, that would be very interesting!
Maybe lamy will get better after being bought by Mitsubishi
I love fountain pens, I love my few Lamys, but I love you even more! The most interesting is to hear your thoughts about everything, especially stationery. ❤❤❤ I have a Lamy Joy, an Al-Star and a CP1, with F, B and 1.5 stub nibs, and I switch nibs on them like a crazy person. Which I certainly am. 😅
I really need to try switching nibs with my Lamy, I need to go crazy like you😆 Thanks for watching❤
I dont have any pens from Lamy yet. The 2000 is on my wish list. I can see myself purchasing a couple of the other models to at least try them out. I certainly wont fall into the "trap" of trying to collect all the variations and colors. I think the variety they provide is wonderful, and it means that if you like the style of the pens, you will probably be able to find a color that resonates with you.
very well said💯 2000 is my fave😉 hope you get it one day. thanks for sharing and watching my video❤️
I have a dozen Lamys, staying with monochrome colors, and Safari, Vista Alstar, Aion, and Studio models. Had encountered the same mania, so a L2K, and one last Studio model might cap my collection. For brown Lamys, there is the Marron Al-Star, and Studio Dark Brown, good luck.
thanks for sharing! yes might sell the copper al star to studio dark brown of availabe here♥️
I have exactly the opposite experience with the z52 @3:30, to be honest. I use the z53, which I found -- maybe -- the smoother.
I want to love Lamy so bad, but I have two of their pens and they are by far my worst fountain pens. No matter how I care for them, they're always skipping, the line is uneven, I like the way they look and how much ink they hold but I honestly can't understand why people call it a starter pen. They're so unreliable.
thanks for sharing♥️
The Rose Gold is an LX model compared to the regular Al-Star. So the black nib is actually better and different from the regular black nib. You can buy the LX nibs separately too. You will notice a different design on your Rose Gold LX nib. Anyway…I understand why you have enough Lamy pens and ready to stop buying them! I am hoping to get a Lamy 2000 to finish off my Lamy collection too.
thanks for sharing!♥️ hope you get your lamy 2000 soon😍
Lamy I heard will stay in Germany
They are by far my most problematic fountain pens -- I have bought several Safaris over the years + the nibs always break down/dry up ... I really wanted to buy a LAMY 2000, but I don't want to waste my money on something that will probably give me problems in the medium term
I think Lamy 2000 is on the premium side so its a different experience with the Safari's. I love my Lamy 2000 ;) You can try it, I'm sure you will also love it.
I really like my Akon and my Safari with the Gold nib ! But my real loves are Sheaffers!
good to know! i don’t have a sing sheaffer pen yet😕 thanks for sharing♥️
But LAMY is now MITSUBISHI XD ;) Maybe you'll love them again. But I'm not into Lamy's anymore either. They're still great for more basic and shimmer inks, but I don't find joy in collecting them for luxury and collection purposes. I use pens in my collection, so their use isn't an issue - I do like using them, but their grip is also a problem for me, since I have a different kind of tripod grip.
true! looking forward to a safari pocket pen HAHAHA Hybrid design LOL
I bought two lamys. 2 charcoal safaris in Extra fine. One was scratchy, the other so scratchy it tears holes in my paper. One EF had a perfect extra fine line just how its supposed to be. The other wrote like a medium and some strokes like a broad. How can two of the same pen be so different. Ive had the same experience with TWSBY mini, mini vacuum, and diamond 580. All twsby were extra fine and all of them were totally different. If they werent scratchy then they wrote like mediums. Horrible quality control both brands
The rose gold al star looks like it has a gold nib. Possibly why it is so much smoother.
And pricey..😅
I admit to being a Lamy fan. I have a Vista, charcoal Safari, 3 Al Stars, 2 Studios and a 2000. That’s 8! I never had any issues with the nibs. The grip doesn’t bother me as this is the grip I was taught from pencil stage. And I tell myself I don’t want anymore, except if a special edition Studio catches my eye. I also experimented by upgrading a Studio to a gold nib and it’s divine.
I don’t know how I feel about the takeover. I hope they don’t change the uniqueness of the brand. A part of me wants to buy the Lamy 2000 in medium before any possible changes. Alternatively, the new ownership may bring something new and exciting. So time will tell.
indeed, excited to see whats Lamy x Mitsubishi gonna come up😅 thanks for sharing!
Thanks!
oh wow!this is my first ever super thanks comment after 1yr here on youtube! thank you so so much!!!♥️💎 Godbless🙏
My Lamy fountain pens look lovely but they are the most scratchy of all of the many fountain pens in my collection - all with fine or EF nibs. I've stopped buying Lamy fountain pens for that reason and only buy the AL Star rollerballs now.
I believe with the takeover, everything will stay the same manufacturing-wise.
yes, nuf lamy🤭
Lovely Lamy collection. I haven't tried to use a Lamy fountain pen yet...eventually I probably will. But for now, I just don't like how their popular style looks. That huge clip is not cute to me. 😅
thanks for sharing and watching my video❤️
Your title is quite misleading to me, I can tell. The sense I got from it, was that something dramatic happened, and you disliked LAMYs; which was not the case. Confusing, to me, Madam!
My EF Itoya writes so smooth! I just bought a Lx Gold and it writes great too. I would love to try a Dialog or 2000, I have heard great things about them.
aahh yes Dialog was my crush after my Pilot VP but too pricey here😢
