My VA doctor refused to test me after I got bit and had flu like symptoms. I didn’t have a bullseye rash but rather a persistent hive on the bite site for months. I initially recovered after a few weeks but was struck with bilateral Bell’s palsy six months later. I have been sick for the past 13 years. I was tested a few years after the bite and had a high Lymes titer. Still the VA didn’t treat me for it. I ended up on Hydroxychloroquine for the last seven years and it brought me back to living a better life. They tested me for so many autoimmune conditions such as lupus and MS. I am positive for celiac and Hashimotos. My body was beat up pretty badly with inflammation causing most of my organs to become enlarged. I am off the Hydroxychloroquine for the past five months and my symptoms haven’t returned. I am hopeful my body finally beat Lymes

I’m from Long Island and you left out some important details. Having grown up on the south shore and boating every summer, Plum Island is an ominous sight but it’s the fact that to this day, if you trespass on Plum Island you are SHOT ON SITE. Everyone knows it’s forbidden to go near the island and there are military/coast guard boats patrolling the area day and night.
Lyme disease? I grew up knowing all about it. My ex got it after we broke up since he was a biker and was outdoors all the time. We have beautiful deer near the beaches but there’s NO WAY you can touch them anymore. It wasn’t like that... but I’ll NEVER forget the time I went to get close to a deer and its head was infested with massive black/grey ticks all over. I avoid all types of animals out here. We don’t spend much time outdoors anymore.. things have changed a lot. Back in the day, you could have parties on the beach all night and drink and drive home. People would have coolers for a center console! But now? We are in a police state. Everything is changed because of fear.. even our elders and friends who need pain meds can’t get them, not even in the hospital.. because of the “opioid epidemic” meanwhile we have an “I-stop” program that puts all prescriptions in a database and punishes doctors to the max. This is an insane world and we are allowing fear to take our liberties away. You know what’s happened since More controls? JUNKIES EVERYWHERE. Heroin.. another thing was growing up heroin was completely taboo. You’d get your ass kicked for thinking about it. How convenient that the Afghan war suddenly saw heroin EVERYWHERE as much lesser life threatening opioid prescriptions became a “crisis.” People need to wake up. That’s a good topic I’d love to see you explore too. How I got from Lyme disease to the opioid crisis? Well.. it’s just another conspiracy. I could go on all day. Would love to chat some day. All the best xo

I hear you - I've been living with Myalgic Encephalomyelitis (similar to Lyme in severity of symptoms) for over a decade, along with severe fibromyalgia which often comes with the package. Luckily I have good docs who believe me & do what they can to make my life tolerable & allow me to function on at least some level (I'd be long dead by now otherwise). Though I am grateful, I often wonder how long my luck will last since more & more doctors are being controlled by bureaucrats with no medical degree. I believe there most certainly is a connection between the persistent dismissal of diseases such as Lyme, ME/CFS, FM, etc., and the 'opioid crisis', as too many dots can be connected for it to be mere coincidence. So you're definitely not alone. Something just doesn't smell right... and I'm glad to know there are more out there thinking the same thing! You've probably seen this already (video by Anonymous about Plum Island) but here's a link just in case...

@@a2shake yes it looks like something got out or was let out from plumb island, looks like fibromyalgia was let out at lake taho in 1975, then down graded to a syndrome, so it got no disease funding, just 20 years of antidepressant meds thrown at woman. Insurance already runs 80% of medicine now. stem cells from your fat might be what helps this. this area of medicine is growing fast. the stemcell institute is doing this and another practice in Florida is doing this right now.

I remember being a kid in 1970ies Germany and in summer there were always ticks around in the fields we used to play. We got bitten but never got sick of any of them. There were no warnings at that time because ticks weren't so bad. Just a bite, the tick was removed and that's it. Later in the 1990ies there were upcoming diseases from ticks such as encefalitis. Maybe I should mention I lived in the south not so far from the Tubingen animal research facility. If ticks are carrying all this diseases today, they are 100% manmade.

    • @krystle1018
      @krystle1018 Рік тому +8

Completely agree! I used to go hunting with my father as a kid. I live in NY close to Connecticut, where lime is the worst. Doctors in Connecticut say if you were bit by you tick, you have Lyme, they don’t even question you having it or not. Although they “say” it’s a 56% chance. I recently met an elderly women with lime disease and she has 4 co-infections. Some days she can barley even breath, talk, walk, or chew. Her Herxheimers are so bad, it goes straight to the brain. Lyme disease can be completely debilitating to one’s health. And what even worse is a lot of doctors don’t yet recognize Lyme Disease, they think you have other conditions like MS. Some doctors are treating Lyme with doxycycline, when in a Petri dish and in human tests the science shows that amoxicillin works way better, if treated right when the bite occurred. There’s not enough funding or grants to help Lyme patients who can’t even work anymore and most Lyme treatments isn’t covered by insurance and is cash only. The US government really need to step it up and help people with Lyme, especially since they’re at fault. I won’t even walk my dogs in the woods anymore in the summer. The ticks are so small these days, like half the size of a piece of ground pepper. The change of bringing a tick into your home by your pets carrying it in is so scary.

I'm in a support group with 55k parents trying to find answers for their sick children... Autism, ADHD, behavioral disorders, allergies, asthma, cancer, you name it. I can't tell you how many times, especially lately, I see a parent posting about their child having Lyme disease and others co-infections like mycoplasma. That's what's happening to our children...that's why over 50% of them have a chronic disease, why 1 in 34 have been diagnosed with autism, why childhood cancer is on the rise. They are being infected with weaponized bacteria and viruses and their immune systems can't fight it because they've been made dysfunctional by our highly toxic environment.

Have to wait until the cold weathers months when they cannot thrive. Which is fine because much like the residents that populate Long Island, you don’t want to be around them either. The woods between October-March here are fine after that you are done for. In the last 5 years is really when it all went south.

I live on Long Island & you seriously have NO IDEA how much of an understatement you've made when you said we are infested!! It's gotten SO MUCH WORSE in the last few years, too!! I have 3 cats, they're indoor/outdoor. Even when there's snow on the ground they come home w/ticks!! I literally don't ever get a break from them! Many are so tiny that if my cats face wasn't white, I'd never see it until it consumed my cat. Just this past May it appeared as though my cat rubbed her face directly in, then sat right on top of a tick nest! She had them on her waterline (where women put eyeliner) & to my absolute HORROR, she had FOUR TICKS IN & UP HER ACTUAL ASS HOLE!!!
I've sprayed the lawn, they came back with a vengeance! I treat my cats, turns out that doesn't prevent them from collecting ticks but what happens is instead of latching onto the cat, they hitch a ride INSIDE MY HOUSE then jump ship only to land IN MY HOUSE!! Making the wiser option to just not treat the cats so I can easy find the ticks when I check my cats, remove them & bag 'em/pop 'em/burn 'em. Vs having to locate them throughout my house which is infinitely larger than the cat!
These things seriously harass my fucking life & it's quite the miracle I don't have lymes disease or any other disease these things carry. One makes you allergic to meat from what I've heard, the lone star tick carries that. There's no way evolution could work so favorably in one organisms favor, especially one that harms others! Usually evolution works in favor of PROTECTING A SPECIES, evolution does not work to create an apex predator! To believe these are naturally diseasing humans & animals means evolution protected them by making them minuscule in size & practically undetectable since you can't even feel them when they're traveling up your body (the travel upwards before latching on bc apparently they've learned it's harder for animals to remove them that way, they also chill on grass blades at the very top & they choose grass that's lining a paved walkway bc apparently they're aware of where humans are most likely to be, making feeding that much easier, it's like they know how to fucking hunt us!! Companies that spray for them tell customers to run a white rag on top of your grass to discover exactly where they are ) anyway, back to their unnatural "evolutionary traits", you can't even feel them BITE!! Evolution works to provide camouflage abilities or harmless yet intimidating features for small organisms to help them survive, what it doesn't do is arm them with stealth AND the ability to disease!! If it did, mosquitos & fleas would be far better at feeding than they are! I fucking HATE ticks!! I've developed a sick pleasure in burning & popping them! I've also become something of a pro when it comes to locating them & removing them from cats. A skill I could've gone through life without & have still lived a solid existence 😞

HurricaneKitty67 Wow. I feel your frustration. I think the ticks were bred, or genetically modified, to be resistant to cold and other environmental issues. Yes, I grew up in Western Pa. - in the woods all the time, and never saw a tick. Now, my family there sees them all the time. Here in So. Calif. we have just had a massive ‘dumping’ of female Aedes mosquitos. No rain for 5-6 months, and severe drought for years. Haven’t seen a mosquito for several years. Then, on a specific day 3 weeks ago, swarms of mosquitos in yard. I got 20 bites over a period of 5 days. I caught several and identified them - Aedes species - both aegypti and albopictus. ( biologist here) Same thing happened to friends in communities 5-10 miles from here, and also some 25-30 miles. Same week - same story. These mosquitos only fly 650 feet from hatching point. Vector control says they are here because they gradually spread from El Monte ( 30;Miles away) and a shipment of bamboo in 2011. This does not explain the observations. Who dropped millions of Aedes mosquitos on L.A. and environs during the week of September.30????????????

I'm so lucky I felt that one because although it barely broke my skin, my neck was red and swollen for 3 days. I would hate to think what would have happened if it burrowed further into an area that controls how much I breathe 😅
I don't think that type carries any diseases, I'm in Australia, so I'm not sure if we have Lyme disease here. But they definitely kill small animals and release some sort of horrible toxin. I got bitten on my butt by one when I was 14 and couldn't sit down for a week 😂

On doxycycline for over 4 months which caused various other problems.. yes neurological, fatigue, headaches, loss of appetite etc.. it took over 2 years to return to semi-normal. I still suffer from Fibromyalgia, and chronic fatigue syndrome. 😩

Have you tried Methylene Blue? Take it with Oregano Oil and Houttuynia Cordata extract, preferably with Azithromycin. The Methylene Blue will crack open the parasitic bacteria (which is double celled - making it almost impossible to penetrate). I take it without diagnosis, 55 years of suffering and medical denial is enough.. It's working, I can even see die-off track on my legs, and energy levels have improved. MethBlue is worth trying on it's own for increased energy.

From when I was 5 years old till my diagnosis by a naturopathic doctor 18 years later and now the daily fight I deal with, I know firsthand about the run around one gets when dealing with Lyme disease. I've dealt with the misdiagnoses, doctors out right saying I was insane and raising my heart rate for "attention". I'm still combating it 24 years later. Truthstream, I wanted to thank you both for releasing this information. This is something I've been digging into after researching the complexity of this illness and how it effects the human body. People need to be aware of this and if you feel you may in fact have the illness, do NOT go the pharmaceutical route as natural, homeopathic medications is the key to fighting this manmade weapon.

Thank you so much for this video. I am convinced this is what my father contracted in the mid 1980's. He worked for an electric company setting poles and running power lines in central KY, which often had him working in thick brush. "De-ticking" him was a daily thing during the summer. He became very ill after developing several bullseye rashes. They said his symptoms were similar to Lupus, but Lupus did not show up on the tests they ran and they never tested him for Lyme Disease. His kidneys began having problems and through the process of a kidney biopsy they discovered his outer kidney wall was tremendously thick and hard.
I appreciate you providing all this "new to me" information about this disease. I love what the two of you do.

When I was a kid in the 70s-80s in Ohio, I used to crawl around in the woods & along creeks all the time & never had a tick on me. These days my dogs will pick up ticks in my mowed lawn if I don't treat them regularly with tick repellent. Between disease-carrying bugs, chemtrails, and cancerous UV rays, the great outdoors has sadly become a rather hostile place that is best enjoyed through a pane of glass. I'm watching leaves fall now from behind my office window-- a month early. What a shame smh

Thanks guys!!! Great vid:). Just something for thought...I was on vaca in Destin FL after Harvey hit TX. The water was super dirty and the wind was out of control. We were on the beach the first day with my 5 yr old and they had a double red flag up. We weren't in the water just sitting on the beach. A lifeguard drove up on an atv and warned us not to get in the water. He explained about the bacteria samples are high and then we just started chatting. My grandmother asked if it was ok to just sit on the beach instead of getting in the water and what he said scared the hell outta me. He nervously and hesitantly said, honestly I wouldn't even be outside right now, he said ESP with a kid. So apparently what he explained to us is that during these hurricanes a lot of ppl get sick. Not just from the water but from whatever it blows in thru the air. He said they told him it's from some of these 3rd world countries and whatever diseases they have blows in with the hurricane. He said he's had flu like sx, rashes, u name it. So we left the beach but unfortunately our condo was right on the beach with a balcony facing the gulf. And I sh*t u not-we ALL got sick. It was 5 of us total and this has been a week ago since we left. I am still sick with something like the flu on steroids. It's been awful!!! I literally missed over a week of work and my mom is a nurse practitioner who comes in contact with everything and she's sick as a dog. So, my point in telling u this is I wonder if they put bacteria, viruses, mold, who knows what else in these manufactures storms they create. What a perfect way to test crap on us. That's something I would like to see researched. I know they spray metals and drugs on us thru chemtrails but image a hurricane bringing stuff in. Freaky.

During the solar eclipse, which was just a few days before Harvey hit us, NASA says they sent an extremely resilient type of bacteria that's "not dangerous to people or the environment" up in 34 high altitude balloons (from Oregon to South Carolina) to see if bacteria can live on Mars. They're concerned that they may have accidentally sent it to Mars on the rover, are afraid of "infecting" that planet, and are hoping the bacteria will die in Mars' atmosphere.
They claim that 100,000 feet up in the earth's stratosphere is very much like the surface of Mars and the eclipse makes it even moreso. Once the balloons reached a certain altitude, they popped and the things containing the bacteria floated down on little parachutes. They were to be located via GPS and sent back to NASA for analysis. That ridiculous explanation is their official story and they expect us to believe it! No telling what they were really doing.

I recognize my story very well in what I read here. Got infected with Lyme in July 2020, had symptoms and a patch on my leg immediately afterwards. I persuaded the doctor to test me, he thought I was anemic! Have taken a course of antibiotics twice but continued to have complaints afterwards. Been to 7 doctors and a neurologist, they didn't understand it, couldn't help me. Now I am in treatment with an osteopath who knows a lot about Lyme and secondary infections.

I believe Rocky Mountain spotted tick fever, is a bio-weapon.
My husband got it while he was in the military, while he was in Panama. He lost 30 pounds in one month, he was already skinny, but he was skin and bone when he got home, he had extreme vertigo, sensitive to light and sound, nauseous all the time. He was literally bed ridden for the first 4 months. They couldn't figure out what it was so they kept giving him antibiotics in Panama, which is probably the only reason he survived . When he got back to the states it took them over 4 months to figure out what was wrong with him, even though we told all the different doctors he got sick in Panama. We finally got a family doctor to test his blood and that is how we found out. And yes the military distanced themselves. And we did get a call from the CDC.

I read the the book called Lab 257 (Plum Island). I absolutely believe Lyme disease was created there and was released from there. The timing of it all is just so exact, it had to be from that Laboratory. I will admit I read only the first half of the book, but that was the half that contained the Lyme disease info and it will open your eyes. I remember back in the early 60's I use to go out in the woods with my friends for days at a time. Never ever worried about ticks. Maybe look out for snakes, or monster...lol....but ticks? THat only started when Lab 257 had a "leak". Don't listen to me or Truthstream.....read the book. The concentration of Lyme disease was in Lyme, Connecticut which is a stones throw from Plum Island. I forgot to mention, that I was in North Jersey until 1976 and never had to worry about Ticks.

I now have MS symptoms. They say it's not sexually transmitted but I believe it is because my spouse got Lyme without a tick bite. Both of our children were born with Lyme. My son had "failure to thrive" after being born at over 9 lbs and my daughter has had arthritis since age 11. They both suffer with many of the other typical Lyme symptoms. The government has weaponized everything, the food, the air, the water, the medicine, and even the the ticks and mosquitoes.

Martha's Vineyard is RIDDLED with deer ticks. I lived there, year round, for 12 years and found these tiny ticks lodged in out of the way places on my body many times. They seek out armpits, skin crevices and creases, the pubic region ( I know, it's gross ) and areas behind the ears. They'll even crawl up your butt-crack! Sneaky buggers. If you vacation on the islands of New England, PLEASE check yourself and your loved ones carefully after a day at the beach or on the bike paths. If you find one, carefully remove with tweezers and take it with you to the emergency room or to your regular MD. I don't like doctors, either, but only they can write a prescription for tetracycline ( or another antibiotic ). Wear long sleeved pants and shirts, socks and a hat when out in the woods. Yeah, not very "vacationy" behavior but far better than acquiring the lifelong, health threats of Lyme disease.

It is *extremely* difficult to get a primary care provider to test for Lyme. When they do, the cheaper test almost always comes up negative. If insurance allows the Western Blot test (which has a 50% inaccuracy rate), getting a positive will still result in you being told most of the time that it's a "past infection" and is no longer active. Should you be lucky enough to get the positive diagnosis, they'll have you take 10-28 days of antibiotics and in future will send you running in all directions to find any other reason for your symptoms *except for* Chronic Lyme.

You can eliminate the spirochetes- it's very involved process but can be done, I am on that journey now. I am convinced millions of people have Lyme but doctors refuse to test for the obvious reasons. I never presented the bullseye rash, most don't. @@joanneclark8256 There are loads of online resources. All recommend using Meythlene Blue with Oregano Oil, Houttuynia Cordata extract with antibiotics. I'm taking Azithromycin (specific to Bartonella, one of the Lyme Bacteria), but I have to get it online as no doctor will prescribe it due to the lack of accurate diagnostics. It doesn't harm you to take it even if you don't have that (according to my Rheumatologist). The Lyme bacteria's are double celled organisms, making them almost impossible for an antibiotic or any treatment to penetrate. Methylene Blue will crack the double cell allowing treatments to penetrate. Even the natural stuff and the MB on their own will make a huge difference, but it's a longterm commitment, as these bugs don't die easily when systemic.

In the early 80’s I was a teenager mowing lawns in an area of southwest Rochester Minnesota. One day I came into the house and showed my brother a bullseye rash on my right upper arm. He said it’s probably a tick bite and he didn’t think much of it. Many many symptoms including food intolerances starting around 87 or 88. Many typical symptoms of Lyme I experienced. Food intolerances got worse in the early 90’s. I had trouble holding jobs and was fired or let go from many until I found delivering pizza was a job I could hold. To try to keep up an energy level for my job I ate candy bars and donuts and I had a poor diet. My family kept telling me to stop faking it. I started seeing a Doctor who specializes his focus in natural medicine, diet and exercise in 2005. After many dead ends in December 2012 he said Boyd I think you have Lyme, let’s start testing. June of 2013 with my 2nd test I got a positive. Antibiotics made me feel sick so I only tried them for a few weeks. Heart pains started August of 2014. I later found out that was from a chemical in artificial flavoring that made my brain short circuit and give me fake heart pains. March of 2015 my memory started to go and I started to forget how to drive through the town I live in. Delivering pizza was a huge mental challenge. If I was tested for mental acuity I probably would have lost my drivers license. My Doctor prescribed me Purepaleo Protein and my brain function greatly improved. April 2015 I started my 9 months on two pharmaceutical antibiotics, ending January 2016. On nothing for 4 months Lyme returned in the span of 10 days in May 2016. It attacked my nervous system and I had trouble walking. Then my Doctor put me on a natural medicine antibiotic and I started getting better. There is more of this HELL I could describe here but it would turn into a chapter. So I’m going on and off of natural medicine antibiotics. My health starts to get worse about 2 months into being off of it. But long term use of antibiotics erodes your brain. I’m 51 and the life I had planned looked a lot different than this. I’m sure that God will ask Eric Traub and others why they inflicted all of this on millions of people. I wonder what his excuse will be? He’s dead now,,, buried somewhere in Germany. If he was buried in the US I’d go find his grave and urinate on it at 2am.

About 4 years ago I listened to an hour long audio of a female scientist talking about Lyme disease.
My interest was piqued because I have two children who have displayed symptoms for it since small.
Our family moved from CT to CO when the three youngest were 6, 4, and 3. Anyway, this doctor/scientist (I
forget her exact position) was working in a lab in CT when the whole disease showed itself in, I believe
1977, maybe 1978. She said they were making trips down to New York City, because THIS is where all
the cases were originating from! Her 99% correct feeling about the whole thing? Vaccinations were
causing ALL of the symptoms. Why did she think this? (We made trips to Long Island, and lived in
CT for 18 years living in white with pants tucked in and hats on, pretty much covered up outdoors, unable
to receive any Vitamin D from the sun.) Think about it. Ramped up vaccination programs specifically in
NYC at that exact time. No deer in NYC. Plenty of asphalt, but no deer. No trees...except in Central Park...
I joke, but almost this bad, on the whole. No ticks there. It was the children, NOT the adults who were coming
down with these symptoms. Just a thought. I wish I could remember her name. If we think further about this,
since this 4 decades ago, adults have been added into the program with a myriad of "reasons" for needing
vaccinations. I have one daughter, last child, we steered clear of vaccinations. She has been our most healthy,
and, yes, she was bitten by the same ticks the rest were. She has never experienced any of the symptoms
shared by the rest of our children. The one thing that runs through the other four? Vaccinations.

I remember back in 2009 there were several sites being considered for the new location of Plum Island Facility. One of those sites is my home, Athens, GA. The University of Georgia is located in Athens and has a substantial agriculture school. There were plenty of people begging for it to come here, stating economic growth, jobs, the same old song. Fortunately there was a stronger opposition to it. It was labeled "bio-terror lab" and a bunch of the locals had a fit about it.

I live right down the street from the new NBAF center in manhattan Kansas, real nice that they now have 2 bio research facilities here, one of the largest well known vet schools in the world right next door, a nuclear reactor on campus (Kansas State University) and the Ft. Riley military base is 15 miles down the road (which btw is supposedly where the 1918 flu pandemic started and the bodies of the Roswell aliens were stored there on their way to Wright Patterson in Ohio as per Phillip Corsos book)
....nope no need to be worried here! what I really love is the NBAF is only a few hundred yards away from the football stadium (54,000 capacity, something like that, plus the tens of thousands more tailgating and coming to town to shop etc...so every Saturday about 60,000 people are sitting right next to that damn place....real smart.

I've lived in Connecticut a little over 30 years now. I have watched the tick and lyme epidemic get bad here. To the point where I personally avoid tall grass fields and other tick breeding grounds. I've taken a 5 minute walk only to be covered in 100s, yes 100s of ticks. In my own humble opinion this whole thing without a doubt is Govt. made, as well as covered up and denied. Question in my mind was it developed for use on the American people or was it designed for enemies abroad? Scary to think about.

That is creepy and disgusting. I've never seen an area that was so infested with ticks there had to be warning signs all over the place. I'm from the south. We have plenty of creepy crawlies and things to look out for, especially if you go taking a walk in the woods. And of course there are ticks. But never such an issue with ticks that you needed warning signs. Never such an issue that walking through woods would cause you to have a whole lot of ticks. In a normal area, if you go to a park or go out into the woods, of course later on you need to check yourself for ticks. And once in a while, like maybe every 10th time you go out, you might wind up getting a tick. While it is something to keep in mind and look out for, it's not a huge issue. I've never heard of a place that had so many ticks you were guaranteed to get several ticks every time you went out into a wooded area. That's not normal at all. And you'd especially not figure it'd be such a prevalent problem in a place that gets cold in the winter. Usually, the warmer climates get more bugs.

I saw a documentary on IPTV about Lymes Diease and they said it is a spirochette like syphilis and treated it with Penicillin, long term. It was working. The insurance companies turned in the doctors for treating patients with a plan that wasn't medically approved by the Medical Association. The doctors even had their licenses revoked and the patients were left untreated. If I remember right, 3 years of antibiotics cured a couple of the patients. Peace

15 years ago the company I work for had a Representative from the County Mosquito & Vector control district come and speak to us about various pests with the worst one being ticks. At that time they told us if at all possible to save the tick and take it to them for testing - our company first aid kits had tweezers with a vial to put it into.
Fast forward to today: That same Company now follows the FLAWED CDC advice of waiting between 3-30 days to see if you develop a bullseye rash or a fever. I would tell you that it is TOO LATE then! If you are unable to get the tick tested you should go on a round of anti-biotics and not take the risk of full blown illness.

(THE MOST IMPORTANT POINT OF MY FOLLOWING OPINION IS AT THE END) Getting a test is not the ultimate goal as the spirochete (actual organism causing the disease) is not identifiable by the disease but only the antibodies developing in response to exposure and the results are often tainted, sometimes by the use of antibiotics, etc.; the cdc restricted the reporting criteria so the extent of the pandemic is not as apparent as it truly is, and medical doctors are trained to not identify and treat the disease as the cost for proper treatment (i.e., proper and adequate iv antibiotics until symptom free) is not appreciated by the insurance industry. The patient has to fight the debilitating and mysterious disease but that is made so much harder because they have to fight the government (cdc), the insurance industry and the medical profession. The disease is identified solely or most effectively by way of a clinical diagnosis (observation of symptoms, etc.) and is not considered gone (cured or in remission) until the patient is symptom free (of any of the up to 42 or more symptoms). Fortunately, if a patient can find what's currently called a "lymes literate" doctor (one who knows the facts or believes the patient), even if insurance will not pay for the proper iv treatment, I've learned through experience, there is a reasonably viable alternative (HERE'S WHAT TO REMEMBER OR TELL OTHERS BATTLING THE DISEASE) is the use of what's called penicillin G (2 million units im/each week) until the symptoms are gone. I survived my second and third bout with the disease with this method and thus consider it the most important point to remember. It's reasonably affordable and I've received prescriptions for it (including needles, etc.) and had family members administer the injections. I don't think I would survive another bout and in order to make sure I don't have to any time I get a tick bite I get a 2 or 3 week dose of oral doxycycline, an effective prophylactic if administered right after exposure to the disease. Of course, I must note I'm not a medical professional and this is all only my opinion based on personal experience and from what I've read over years researching while enduring the disease.
