Stranjah, u nailed it bro, OG OldSkool, Big Up 😎🔊🔥🔥🔥🔥
I don’t usually comment on videos but the fact that you have mentioned the sample libraries jungle warfare got my attention because I used to work for Zero-G and I had the pleasure of working on that particular set of breakbeat libraries my job at the time was to create a REX recycled version of the library for Reason
WOW!!!! Crazy, I havn't followed up on Zero-G for some years, are they still active? Scratch that, I see they're big company now!
@@STRANJAH An interesting fact is that the library includes the infamous Amen break I asked the owner of the company at the time why this was included given the fact that it is a copyright hot potato and his response was it wouldn’t be the ultimate complete breakbeat library if the sample wasn’t included
@@sampleheed haha it is true, glad he took that risk. I could imagine a lot of tracks not being here today were it not for that cd
@@sampleheed that must've been a dream job! How did you get it? Are you still in the sample business?
@@sampleheed the hole pack is full of famous breaks, I wonder if they knew it? Who is the owner? I wonder if he made any tunes!
This sounds for the underground
Hardcore will never die
yes there's resurgence of some 90's sounds
I've been trying to put some old school hardcore together myself lately. This is a great help, thank you. You've made a 53 year old ex raver very happy. Started in 89 and 91/92 hardcore days were some of the finest. Nice work. HardcorE will never die!
That's me too 88-93 was the golden years of raving in the uk I say
up the villa!!!
Caught the bug as a 12 year old in 90, first rave was 94 - never stopped \o/ HTID
Krome & Time - Slammer.
Remarc - one 4 da vibes
Bro, you just brought me WAAYYY back! How simple everything about the scene was back then....except finding those secret parties with crazy checkpoints and directions! Good job!!
Awesome, made me feel really nostalgic. Also incredible what they where doing 30 years ago with such basic equipment.
You are one of the only music youtubers that makes music in genres I care about. Super knowledgable and I always learn a new trick or two.
This is a whole ass masterclass and history lesson I didn't know I needed. So glad I found your channel!
Taking us back to the Old Skool, nice one Stranjah for the memories!
I'm glad we can all go back in time and enjoy the vibe!
Smashed it out the park again Stranjah Big ups !!

Great video, you have a good manor of explaining things. Looking forward to more!
Love this stuff mayn! Sounds exactly like prodigy! I was born too young to get into the 90s scene but i still have this para-nostalgic feel when i hear something like this. Big up!
You’re my favourite music production channel. Great content, always clearly laid out and informative. And the tracks are always on point🔥🔥🔥
Excellent! Really takes me back. I've really gotten into your channel.
Brilliant video x
Killed it! Keep them coming dude 👌🏻
Definitely make more of these
My first rave was Perception - Summer Celebration on June 7th, 1991 so this was such a blast from the past 👍
Ah man I LOVE this nostalgia! Cool I know more about where the classic sounds of the nineties come from.
Please make more videos like this! I'm getting back into making music and want to recreate some nostalgic vibes.
Will do!

Absolute gold. Thank you! ❤
I love your channel dude. Really helpful tips for production. Thanks so much. I remember going to those clubs and listening to that music back then.
Love this bro brings back many memories off a great era to rave. Personal fav is doc Scott -nhs disco mix. Please make more content like this 👏👏👏🙌🙌🙌
will do , enjoyed making this style!
nice one Stranjah! 92-94 Breakbeat Hardcore golden era
Excellent tutorial! Your breakbeat song sounds like early Prodigy.
DJ Luna-C Kniteforce Records, still going strong! DJ Red Alert and Mike Slammer. Vibes and Wishdokta. The House Crew. Future Primitive. DJ Ham... Grew up with this sound.
DJ Tango - You and Me
This is gold mate 👏
Great video mate, really bringing the nostalgia back for real! Nice simple use of triad chords to get that ravey stab.
That hoover sound was used a lot in dnb too, I think the stabs in "Deadline" by Digital sound like a pitched up version maybe??. That one has the dubby vibes on the bassline as well, sounds mental on a quality rig.
I like the little comedy intros and skits in your vids too man, because dnb/bass music production can get a bit technical, so it's nice to have a few shots that lighten the mood every now and then :))
Nailed it! Raving out here.
Such a good tutorial!
Love this so much....
*Please also do bigbeat fatboyslim & prodigy please*
nice one Stranjah , excellent lesson in hcb
Oh hell yeah!!!! I love love love the sound of breakbeat hardcore.
Dope video salute Bro

You nailed that
Great tutorial, thanks!!
LIQUID - SWEET HARMONY!
Tom & Jerry = 4hero, no? Love the vid!
Stranjah looking after the Ravers big up!
Haha, nice breakdown of the sounds. Future Assassin's, Nookie, and Rabbit City all Fantazia classics, great memories....
Awesome! Nailed it!
that’s mad 😮 sounds just as good if not better than most of the tracks from that era 👏🏻👏🏻 top job man
don't be daft...
More tutorials like this please mate!
Respect for this video. Subscribed.
Nice one!
oh man I'm absolutely loving this. love me a bit of breakbeat hardcore but never really had a scooby on how its made :D
LOVE THIS
Good work
When you put that hip hop vocal sample on top suddenly white gloves and glow sticks appeared in my hands, my hair tied itself into a ponytail and all I was able to say was "Oi Oiiiiiii!"
Cool man. I was 18 in 92 when hardcore started exploding around London and taking over from acid. It was mental and progressed so fast into Jungle. You're right about things being out of key and time and that was partly down to the technology, or lack of it. That's what made it organic and special. I was buying tunes until about 2000. It was more a soundscape back then and the tunes were mixed in all over the place. Once everything became sterile, too formulated and written in traditional songs structures, it became boring.
I new i could come to you to gimmie some ideas on how to do this. Big up stranger once again. 😁
Sound of my youth right here. Thanks!
This is great!
I would love to see and hear your take on breakcore or raggacore, like Soundmurderer & SK-1 or Istari Lasterfahrer!
AMAZING
Only just watched this video, this really makes me wanna produce an old skool track and take me back to my childhood! 😊 🙏
Weird fact, I started listening to electronic music in 2006/7 with daft punk, the prodigy and chemical Brothers. Then someday, I checked out The prodigy's catalog and the first two albuns (from their rave era) blew my mind. Even I conscious that the sound was kinda obsolete, I felt in love to the vibe and downloaded all the rave breakbeat tunes that I found on internet. Only after that I've started to listen the more recent stuff from the edm scene. To me personally, the must listen hymns of this era is: The prodigy - Out of Space, Altern8 - Frequency, and Acen - trip to the moon (all parts) there's many more but you can't go wrong with these 3 tunes. Nice recreation bro, you got the vibe. Big up for all the oldskool ravers!
Next to Out Of Space, SL2 - On A Ragga Trip is a classic
For modern stuff in the same style, check out "Josh B" on UA-cam
yup, you nailed it....subscribed
My girlfriend tells me I have that 'nailing it' effect, glad to hear it's not just confined to our relationship! Thanks for subscribing 😉
Spot on.
Loved it
Debuglive's video on Amiga samplers pairs perfectly with this
ANOTHER BANGIN TUTORIAL
As a raver from the 90s this speaks to my heart and soul. True RAVE music. Gonna have to try this technique out. Also Joey Beltram is a legend thanks for sharing the origin of that sample always wanted to know where it came from.
You nailed it Stranjah! Sends me right back to 1993! Top One.
Great to hear that thank you!
the video intro actually accurately describes how i fell listening to you explaining things, COMEOONN!!! kick out a bit of life-force dude!!!! But for the rest all good stuff and I thank you
YES YESS 😷 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼 Horn massive crew!!!
Dude, you rock! I like learning from you.
Taste that old school flaver 👍
This is why I'm Subbed
Taking us back to them roots that built this modern age
Big👍 from me ☺
Awesome and thank you
Looking forward to watching this later. This is my fav genre ❤️👊🏼
good to know that!
@@STRANJAH you should definitely do more 👊🏼
@@DjMossy will do!
@@STRANJAH ❤️👊🏼
This reminds me the early prodigy era stuff. You absolutely killed it
Aced it! Nostalgia trip dude.
Respect to you man 👍 Not to be funny or rude; you've really paid attention and given this genre the respect it deserves, but nobody is ever going to get that true vibe of the 90s, due to the fact that the P.L.U.R has disappeared in the world.
You've got the technical side down, and even the overall sound palette is superb, but there was just something about those that were there that made the whole vibe truly come to life. You have to make this stuff for the big rig, and the mind of the raver has all but disappeared from reality.
Again, extremely good job and mad respect for keeping this style alive.
A few good producers I'd mention are Top Buzz, Ratty, Tango, Jack Smooth, Basement Phil, Caspar, and Skanna, to name just a few. So many good producers back then, but also many awful ones 😂
Peace and love to you, brother. Keep up the damn fine work ❤
Ultrasonic, QFX, N:Trance and Altern:8 classic stuff
