Can I just say how you’re such a good vlogger!? I don’t know if it’s because you had your presentation or what but it just hit different today. Also, the fact that you said you were by yourself, when you were talking, I legit felt like I was there, being supportive, and getting all prepped up with you. As viewers, it seems so normal to watch XYZ person on a screen but I can only imagine how it feels for the person who’s speaking to camera. It takes a lot of confidence and getting used to. It’s so funny you’re trying to recreate his grandmas pound cake. My husbands grandma passed away years ago and he always talked about her capriotada. So I asked his mom and asked his sister and they both had 2 different recipes. So trial and error. And finally I made it like how she did. Mind you I don’t eat it and I don’t even try it lol but when my husband tried it he began to cry. So I saved the recipe and make it for him just like grandma ❤

I wonder if the pound cake icing was more of a glaze? A lot of the pound cakes I've had have a glaze as opposed to a thick icing. It was incredibly thoughtful of you to try to recreate it for your husband! ☺
