Number 11 answer END Jesus is the end of the law in terms of trying to be justified thru law only. It was AFRICANS who created the conciliar method in order to solidify Christian Doctrine. Tertulian, Origen, Athanasius, Augustine, etc created the rules for hermeneutics and orthodoxy. When Christians "fall away" is a significant passage used by those who do not believe in eternal security (Hebrews 6:4~8). If they are correct, then once someone has lost it, they can never get it back (for it is impossible to renew them again to repentance, Heb 6:4). And that's bad news because if sinning causes you to lose your salvation, it's gone forever. But folks who believe you can fall away/lose your salvation all think you can get it back. Purgatory is much misunderstood. The best way I can describe it is that it is a place of purification before we enter heaven. Everybody in purgatory will go to heaven. 1 Corinthians 3:11-15 John 15:2 1 Peter 1:6-7 In 2 Maccabees 12:46 we are told that it is good for us “pray for the dead, that they may be loosed from sins”. Purgatory diminishes the work that Jesus Christ did on the cross and makes it a works based gospel. You have to earn and work your way into Purgaroty but you cannot work your way into heaven. Our righteousness (works) are like filthy rags (Isaiah 64:6). Remember, we are saved by grace through faith, not by works so that no-one can boast (Ephesians 2:8-9). We are called to boast in Jesus Christ, not our works (1 Corinthians 1:30-31) which the belief of Pugatory encourages. 3. 1 Corinthians 3:11-15 - This is talking about the fact that once again, you cannot work your way into heaven. The only way you can get into heaven is by believing in the death & resurection of Jesus Christ (Romans 10:9). That is the foundation of our faith, not our works. Most of our works will be burnt up and we will be rewarded based on the works that survive the fire. But this once again doesn't mean that our "good works" will save us. This is not talking about Purgatory at all. 4. John 15:2 - This is akin to James 2:14-26 (faith without works is dead). Works are the fruit in this passage. You don't need to work to be part of the vine (Jesus) you just need faith for that. However a true believer will produce good fruit/works and Jesus will make that fruit/works multiply even more for His and the Father's glory. Again, this is not talking about Purgatory at all. 5. 1 Peter 1:6-7 - These verses and the whole of 1 Peter is a letter to encourage persecuted Christians. This passage is to encourage Christians that are going through suffering on Earth because of faith and believe in Jesus Christ to keep going and look towards the rewards and treasures of heaven. Once again, this is in no way talking about Purgatory. Please kindly stop spreading falsehood about Purgatory being a canon core Christian belief. I totally enjoyed your video and believe those questions to be what ALL Christians should know in their heart at a basic level.
When I first heard you saying them I admit I said to myself..."Uh Oh, I been a Spirit filled Chrisrian since '83 so I cannot fail them." Yet after I heard them all through, it was then I realized it is exactly what a confessing Christian HAS to be able to answer without a lot of trouble.
The most important doctrine and the one I stress and was glad that you also stressed big time is the Deity of Jesus Christ.

When Christians "fall away" is a significant passage used by those who do not believe in eternal security (Hebrews 6:4~8). If they are correct, then once someone has lost it, they can never get it back (for it is impossible to renew them again to repentance, Heb 6:4). And that's bad news because if sinning causes you to lose your salvation, it's gone forever. But folks who believe you can fall away/lose your salvation all think you can get it back. The issue is not salvation but instead the usefulness to God. Aka fallen away

2. 1 John 1:7-9 - We are purified by the blood ofJesus Christ, therefore purgatory is unnecessary, unbiblical and therefore preaches a different gospel than the one in the canonical Bible. Purgatory diminishes the work that Jesus Christ did on the cross and makes it a works based gospel. You have to earn and work your way into Purgaroty but you cannot work your way into heaven. Our righteousness (works) are like filthy rags (Isaiah 64:6). Remember, we are saved by grace through faith, not by works so that no-one can boast (Ephesians 2:8-9). We are called to boast in Jesus Christ, not our works (1 Corinthians 1:30-31) which the belief of Pugatory encourages.
3. 1 Corinthians 3:11-15 - This is talking about the fact that once again, you cannot work your way into heaven. The only way you can get into heaven is by believing in the death & resurection of Jesus Christ (Romans 10:9). That is the foundation of our faith, not our works. Most of our works will be burnt up and we will be rewarded based on the works that survive the fire. But this once again doesn't mean that our "good works" will save us. This is not talking about Purgatory at all.
4. John 15:2 - This is akin to James 2:14-26 (faith without works is dead). Works are the fruit in this passage. You don't need to work to be part of the vine (Jesus) you just need faith for that. However a true believer will produce good fruit/works and Jesus will make that fruit/works multiply even more for His and the Father's glory. Again, this is not talking about Purgatory at all.
5. 1 Peter 1:6-7 - These verses and the whole of 1 Peter is a letter to encourage persecuted Christians. This passage is to encourage Christians that are going through suffering on Earth because of faith and believe in Jesus Christ to keep going and look towards the rewards and treasures of heaven. Once again, this is in no way talking about Purgatory.
Please kindly stop spreading falsehood about Purgatory being a canon core Christian belief. This is a unbiblical Catholic belief and is not endorsed by canon Christian scriptures, only by incorrect interpretation. Thank you.
