To better explain:
1. Check every answer no matter if you know it or not.
2. Write or type answers on notepad.
3. Once you write all the right answers down, hit the X at top right.
4. Click "Save for later"
5. Click start exam
6. Click restart
7. You get to fully restart and have all the answers while it disregards the exam you just restarted. Meaninnggggg it thinks this its your first time doing the exam.
This does not work, you do not get to just restart an exam.
That only works if you have unlimited tries/attempts

You also can not go back to the previous question/lab once you answered it.
@@WantBadtime Actually it doesn't have to be unlimited, I have 3 tries and I was able to.
test out has proven to be a useless tool. "CONNECT MOTHER BOARD PIECES" also no video prior to showing you what goes where. You are assumed to already have experience. What is the point of going to school to learn if it's implied you already know the stuff you need to learn?
Exactly! My teacher said TestOut is used for people looking to get industry certifications, meaning they would already be expected to have some knowledge, but my county pays for it and it's part of our school's Cybersecurity curriculum so- 🤷♀
Also if you haven't already, there's full channels that walk you through the steps to completing each of the labs... the only way I even got through them honestly

@@OneManCanStopTheMotorOfWorld I don't use them to cheat -- the way that the courses I'm taking are structured to involve no hands-on or application-based learning, seeing as it's for a school class. I also don't have much experience in networking but the school expects us to get our certifications after doing TestOut for this year. The teacher does not explain how to go through the labs either, as he encourages us to use "problem-solving skills" and figure it out ourselves. And I actually have been learning how to work with the hardware on my home network, as well as doing small projects with it, but that doesn't always help me understand how to perform a task in the lab. I'm not trying to encourage cheating, nor am I using the UA-cam tutorials for cheating purposes myself. I use them because they provide clear and direct steps to completing the tasks. Please don't assume I "never do the work". Using something as a supplement to your learning is different than trying to fraudulently pass through it.

Hi, Prof. I read from the Testout website that the first test is free, but you will need to pay for an exam voucher for another attempt. Can you confirm if this is a recent change?
Does this apply to the Testout Linux Pro certification?

So yea I failed CIS60 security pro the exam / final is mostly lab based I can do most of them but not quick enough I run out of time and fail every time....now I have to pay $40 for this retake today and pretty sure Im Going to fail again smh 😢😔🤦🏽♂️

This doesn't work for every Testout program. The Security Pro TestOut practice exam doesn't give you the answers after you've taken it. Also, instead of the questions being in a different order you will receive completely different questions each time you take it.

@@moose6797 I just use the explanation it gives me at the end, and make sure I understand it before moving on to try again. Good luck!
@@moose6797 same it’s so freaking hard, plus the demos are different from what they ask us to do in the labs!

@@shamyataylor338 more than 10 labs and maybe a few questions but it's heavily lab based

This doesn't work for the PBQ's.
Are the questions on the practice exam the same as on the real thing
I asked the professor this same question and he replied yes they are that there is only 1 pool of questions.

I did already figure out that I can retake the exam after reviewing the answers but thank you. My question is are the questions in those practice questions at the end of each module the exact questions that are going to be asked on the final exam at the end??
Yes. there is is only one pool of questions.
This doesn't work for the real test.
Nobody claimed that it did or thought it did.
Will obtaining this certificate help get into an entry level job without an A+ cert? Do employers value it?

@@SweetFeetSHIPP after watching this video, I took the exam last week and passed. I’ve had a few interviews since then, but haven’t gotten hired yet.
This is the equivalent of an A+, but because it's not CompTIA, in my experience, employers don't value it nearly as much. However it certainly is worth it to get, as the more things listed as Certifications on your resume, the better.

does it work for the final exam and nor practice test
The final exam can only be taken once but most of the questions from the practice exam are on the final exam

@@ginomercadojr no it didn’t work unfortunately I have to do take the test but what you can do is screen record while you take the test and you’ll see at the end which ones you got wrong and the correct answer for when you retake it . It won’t be in the same order but most questions can previous test will be on the redo test but not all .
The final exam is 11 questions vs 18, but they have extra steps in them as well.
