    Damn. This video should be shown to anyone contemplating one of these. It's perfect and just great with the information on upgrades / mods.

      We're planning to make another one of these soon since I've gotten a lot more seat time and made a lot of other modifications/adjustments.

    love the front spoiler. did you fab it yourself?

    • @WOTclub
      @WOTclub  3 роки тому +1

      Yessir! Just used some foam board to get it how I wanted it and then traced it onto a sign. Bought the winglets from a company and then made the endplates and had them welded on.

      @@WOTclub asking because I have chassis #224. Looking to add one to mine.

    • @WOTclub
      @WOTclub  3 роки тому +1

      The flat floor/splitter was pretty easy to make so I'm sure you could do that part pretty easily on your own. The wings were quite a bit more tricky to do though.

    I have a question, did you get the idea to run the coolant through the tube from another goblin someone built?

    • @WOTclub
      @WOTclub  2 роки тому +2

      No, I haven't seen it done before. Everyone complained about how hard it was to pull the hose through the tube and I was just confused as heck why we'd be pulling a hose through a tube so I decided to eliminate the hose and just use the tube.

    Where did you get that front wing assembly or did you make it?

    • @WOTclub
      @WOTclub  2 роки тому

      Made that using a street sign, some angle aluminum, and small wing pieces from 9livesracing

      @@WOTclub wow is there any way you can post the dimentions of the front splitter?? because I have heard that the goblins are notorious for have less grip at the front when on power.

    • @WOTclub
      @WOTclub  2 роки тому

      Yeah, I might just have to make a video on how I made it and what size it is. I've been asked about it quite a bit so it would probably help some people out!

    Will it hang with Ariel Atom?

    • @WOTclub
      @WOTclub  2 роки тому +1

      I believe so! Are we talking about the Ariel Atom 4 with the Type R engine? That makes 320hp and 310tq at the flywheel and weighs about 1350lbs. When we filmed this video the Goblin made about 265hp with the blower but since I've switched it to turbo it makes 325hp and 415tq at the wheels on a Mustang dyno and weighs in at about 1650lbs. The main difference is the price tag!

    • @ayebee1207
      @ayebee1207 2 роки тому

      Yes, the R. The track you were at, in the slaloms you spent a lot of time around 2200rpm. So I am guessing adjusting boost and fuel trim for time attack according to turns and straight away length.
      Your dyno guy could help with stored programs for humidity and track temps.
      Very solid build, Sir.

    • @WOTclub
      @WOTclub  2 роки тому +1

      That was a pretty small and tight course. They aren't normally that small and I also take it to some larger tracks occasionally too.

    • @WOTclub

      I made this one out of an old construction sign. It was pretty easy to do. Then I made the winglets with some 8" wide wangs from NineLivesRacing.

      @@WOTclub best grip per dollar I have seen since the RT615. I daily them and have gotten almost 15K miles from the set. They're starting to get a bit stiff so I purchased a new set I will put on soon. These have almost comparable grip to a set of PS4's which I only get 10K miles from and cost $100 more per tire.

      Some of the local clubs are running out of good venues. Luck for me the Goblin dominates at the super tight stuff.
