I love teacups and tea related sayings!!! We say in Germany "wait and drink tea" , which has different meanings, depending on which situation you use it: 1. If you worry about or hope for an outcome: "keep calm, nothing you can do right now, so no point in stressing out. You need to wait for the outcome before you can respond in a sensible way." 2. If someone promised/ predicted an action or outcome you have some doubts about: "I'll believe it the moment it happened", or "I'll make up my opinion on this, after I've seen it happen/ or after I've seen the results"
Ahhh the tea thing! I remember when I worked for my last boss, his cleaner came in and she was crying her eyes out. He looked at me panicked as he didn’t know what to do! He sent me in there and there we stood, two strangers just looking at each other. One hug and those immortal words ….. I’ll put the kettle on!! 🥰😂. I’d heard my mum and her mum say the same in a catastrophe and it just brings a wave of peace knowing all is ok in the world (or it soon will be) xx thank you for another great video Becca!!! ❤
