Great video Jim. I'm considering purchasing the S100, but concerned about the tractor width fitting through my gate. Please let me know how wide is the tractor with the bagging attachment installed? I understand it is 55" wide with the chute. Much appreciated.
Thanks Jim; a great video. You are an excellent teacher, showing the process step by step, leaving nothing out and not going to fast. I'm heading outside to put my new learning into action completing this task which I have failed to do after several tries. Thanks again. 11-17-2023
His literal step by step hit the nail on the head. I had to pause the video for each step. I have an S130 and it helped me install in less than 10 minutes.
Thank you! I just bought an S130 and bagger and your video clarified and simplified some basic questions for me. Thanks! Jack (SFC-retired). Thanks for serving so we can rest easy!
I think this is a great quality tutorial. Good video, sound, light and naration. It was just what I needed to see since I have been tasked with installing one soon and had no idea. Thank you.
Thank you so much! I was totally lost after taking off the bagger for a mower repair. Your visual teaching combined with what you said saved the day! I am definitely saving this video.
Jim, I had taken my lower unit off and was having trouble getting it back on. I came inside, located your video and 15 minutes later it's back in place. Just the kind of detail I needed. Thanks so much! I was truly getting frustrated.
Thank you my 13 yrold and I had tried for 10 min wile reading instructions...we could not figure it out. This was wonderful! Thank you! It's on and working like a charm!
Thank you sooo much! This video was so straightforward and perfect to understand! I love how you even showed hooking those bags on twice so you could really see what it was hooking into! Thank you so much, my ex always held the lawn mowing over my head as a reason to let him come around because I was so intimidated but I’m not intimidated anymore!!!! Thank you so much!
Thanks Jim. I’ve inherited the groundskeeping since I lost my husband in the winter. I had no idea I could use this to pick up leaves or debris on the grass but somebody told me about it. But then the problem was the bagger I had no idea how to do it. In the manual I had didn’t talk about the bagger. So I went online and I found you. Well my hoses are older than yours and they’re warped and I don’t have a leak proof attachmentTo the mower. But it’s been like this for a while and it’s likely to stay working. Thanks again.
When picking up leaves or debris just don’t do a lot fast and it does not work good if the leaves or debris are wet. I love my bagger for leaves much easier than raking. Thanks for watching my video. I have many more on the John Deere mower
Oh man. I just an hour trying to figure out all these pieces by myself. Dad died in March and I brought his mower and all this stuff over to myself but I could not figure out how to hook it all up. You make it easy, now that I see how it all works! Thank you! (I’m only missing that rod and cotter pin.)
Thank you so much for this video! It was easy to follow and made this process go fast as I was thinking I wasn’t going to be able to add my bagger to my mower on my own!
Thank you, my brother just gave his JD L110 with all the attachments after he bought a zero turn... He didn't show how the bagger part worked... Thanks again, your video was easy and helped me out
Thank you very much for your videos it helps a lot understanding the procedures on how to manage our lawnmower God bless you Thank you very much for your videos it helps a lot understanding the procedures on how to manage our lawnmower , God bless you!!!
Thanks man! This solved my issue of how to get the bagger back on my mower after I took it off(the dealer delivered the mower with the bagger attached)!
Hi Jim, again thank you for your videos... you have helped me in many ways with my John Deere 100 series rider... Now I know how to put the bagger on... Never did it before... Thanks Jim and god bless you and your loved ones...
Love this guy, dump the leaves in the cornfield. I can do that. But the cornfield doesn't belong to me, but I got my jollies hearing that little tip. Love ya
Great tutorial thanks Jim! I’ve been cutting the grass and the shoot hasn’t been picking up any of the grass. Crossing my fingers this will solve the problem!
You might add that before beginning to lower you mower deck to lowest setting before beginning. On my JD X model the Shute is 1 piece and has to be inserted into bigger first. Then deck end will not fit if deck is not lowered!
This video helped me like im about to help you. The black weled rod betewwn yout bags that the rubber latch attaches to, Its upside down, thats whybthe rubber latch didn't hold up. I learned the horizontal rod function from you. Thank you
Thanks Jim. You saved me $$$. I just traded my L111 (2005) in for a new S120, after 15 years of service. I was not sure if my old bag system would work. After watching your video it reminded me how it attached, and it worked.
Thank you for posting this video ... somehow my grass shoot connection came loose and I was getting a bit frustrated trying to reattach it. That metal plate that you hooked that bungee cord to, I didn''t realize that it folded all the way up, which was my problem in attempting to reattach the shoot attachment ... Thanx again!
This is exactly the type of explanation I needed!! Thank you for breaking it down for me 😁 honestly super helpful and not as intimidating as others have made it seem!
Hey Jim thanks for the video . Just got my bagger for my d130 the baggers are a little different then yours but still watching your video made it easy to hook up quick. Working 12 hour days I don’t get much time to cut grass so was excited I get to cut tonight with the bag on due to your tutorial
Great video, very descriptive and easy to understand. I ordered one of these for my new JD S120. I also bought a leaf blower to clean up the mower deck like what you did in another video. Keep up the making great videos!
Got this bagger and a d140 with 48" deck. Past owner never used the bagger but gave me all the parts. This is 3rd vidio I watched and the best. Brief and too the point. Only thing that seems odd on all the videos is exactly where the rubber straps attach to the mower deck. You would think an obvious attachment point with a hole or rod for both straps would have been part of the plan. SMH Thanks for the info.
Thanks for the video, now I know it's not going to be hard to put on. I'll get one. Now all I need to do is find out where you get those corn fields so I can dump the clippings in it. :)
I struggled to install mine because the metal discharge plate wasn't coming up high enough. I thought I had the wrong bagger kit. The key part of the video for me, that I had not seen in the other install videos, was when I saw you double force that metal plate up for clearance. I knew then I could apply my force, as I felt like I was going to just bend it before. Once that metal plate snapped up, I had plenty of clearance.
What happens if you don't have a cornfield behind your house?😅😅😅 I'm kidding very very well put together appreciate you man thank you so much God bless you as well 🙏❤️🩹

Did yours come with bagger blades? I had to switch the blades for it to work probably. My bagger came with blades to lift the grass up instead of out.
@@TomsClips11 yes I also had to switch them out.
Thank you for the video. We were given a (heavily used) mower and bagger and I was able to install the bagging system with this.

Thanks Buddy I've had mine for 3 years an haven't put it on yet. If I new it was that easy I would have done it a long time ago.
