- The Spirit of Pocahontas performed at Disneyland's Fantasyland Theater from June 23, 1995 until September 1997. Beauty and the Beast played before Pocahontas and Animazement arrived afterwards.
"Savages" of war. Pocahontas declares her love for John Smith. "Colors of the Wind" reprise and curtain call.
Most have stated Christine LaFond played Pocahontas for this show, Eden Espinosa played her in a later production.

I was a spotlight operator on this show, we felt bad for the people in the back that didn't get confetti leaves so we always brought a box with us and threw it out to the people in the back who happened to be in front and below us.
Collecting leaves/confetti as little kids... ah, good times :D
Other youtubers have claimed it is. And she also played Pocahontas in Disneyland's "Animazement" show until 2001. Then went to DCA for "Steps in Time". I don't know what she did for WDW.

Ok. Thanks for answar ;) Wow, it is really so long ago? I remember I watched the movie in theathers in november 1995 and I loved that movie (even I didn't was so happy about the ending), my little brother was born in 1995. But I liked this show, it was funny and well written
The idea for this show is that the Native Americans are telling the audience the story of Pocahontas. They bring the spirit of Pocahontas and John Smith to help tell the story. The other Native Americans are playing along... as in they are also playing the parts of the Englishmen. Also, this is like a 20-30 minute theme park show. Some things needed to be cut and changed to tell as much of the story in as little time as possible.

Who was Werowance/Chief Powhatan in this show? It neither looks nor sounds like Joshua! It must have been a chorus member who was Werowance/Chief Powhatan's understudy.

I'm a little surprised they left out Ratcliffe in the show. Why did they do that? He's like a major character from the movie.

it didn't really show what happened to Kokuam (however u say his name) but yes this was great.
