30 minutes? WOW OMG!!!! The movie is about two hours. I am a fan of Pocohantos. She is my favorite princess and i did a report on her in fifth grade.

Why is "Pocahontas" so freaking good? Never fails to astound me with its awesomeness.

It's a 30 minute version of an animated feature film, the story was bound change and to fit in as many songs as possible. Plus live theater is quite different than a movie.

I think I remember the other cheif when I watched this as a kid. I don't remember any differences with the John Smiths, maybe faintly in the back of my head. Very cool you know the actors personally :D. Maybe you could let them watch this, for nostalgia.

John: It's how we say hello -sees Pocahontas moving her hand- What are you doing?
Pocahontas: This is how we say goodbye -runs off-
    John: Goodbye...GOODBYE?!
    LOL! XD

The concept of the show is that the Native Americans are telling the story of Pocahontas. The only characters who play "themselves" are Pocahontas and John Smith, in SPIRIT form. The other players are performed by the Native Americans, including the English settlers. Hence THE SPIRIT OF POCAHONTAS. The same story show concept was done with Disneyland's Festival of Fools.

I taped the last show for them. The other cheif ws an old heavy set man. the difference between John Smiths was Paul Cady didnt wear a wig it was his natural hair..and he was slightly shorter. i was in lurve with him...do you have Animazement to upload? possibly the hercules parade?

Don't you think it was weird that in the movie, although John Smith comes from England he doesn't have an accent?

Hmmm....I actually really like how they did this. Kind of like, the Native Americans themselves are telling the story. Very interesting...

This is a really cool concept! Does anybody know who plays John Smith? I really like his singing voice.

Jeff Austin played John Smith. He also played Gaston in Beauty And The Beast the year before.
