- Long before the invention of iPhones, my Dad bought a video camera and filmed my first public performance, aged 11! He is there behind the camera zooming in and out and although the footage is not of the highest quality, the sound has survived quite well! I was a VERY nervous little singer but I grew out of it. I hope you enjoy this little blast from the past.
The little boy in the video is Niall Walsh who lived down the road from me and grew up to be a primary school teacher!

Emer that’s such a treasure to have your dad must have been sooooo proud of you. Any way I am Ron I grew up in NYC now living on New Jersey Shore. I was a bass player in bands for many years so music is where I find what I need to get to whatever feeling is dominating the day. The winter is when o walk the beaches I find peace In the music of the ocean waves. To me it’s rare to hear a voice that just is pure as nature and can capture the peace like the waves can for me I find all the others who play the instruments accompanying you to be of the same caliber of pure excellence anyway thank you for sharing this video the sound truly is just excellent.
