The narration of Ruchir and the articulation of Ruchir on capitalism is great.
    Following needs special mention
India is a tuff place to do business even today. There are lot of burecratic controls and regulations exists in India
Lot of billionaires are leaving China
    China population is getting aged

Although china took on debt to grow, it was mostly spent on infrastructure, especially high speed rail throughout China. This will pay back in future years and benefits the nation as a whole.

Absolutely, there is a general fatigue, but that does not mean that people want Rahul Gandhi. There is a need for a catalyst for the present government.

The problem with intellects like Ruchir and many others in India is that they are so forgiving to the Nehru Family's incompetence and incapabilities, which systematically destroyed 7 decades of India's promise along with the future and potential of 5-6 generations of Indians. This crude & bloody lack of empathy for fellow Indians who lost their potential is so unpardonable. At least Ruchir tells the truth and does not defend Nehru's family members' gross incompetence. However, many other evil-minded beneficiaries, including those in the current media & from the courtier system, still normalise/defend/find excuses for Nehru family members and their incompetence and incapabilities. Unfortunately, these evil-minded and their supporters in India do not realise that. Still, by normalising and making excuses for 70 years of incompetence by Nehru Family members, they are encouraging other such selfish, incompetent politicians in our democracy.

To be fair, given that India came out of the clutches of the "Greedy capitalist" Britain, socialism would have appeared to be an obvious choice to the leaders of the time. We, with the benefit of hindsight, now know that socialism didn't work. It is the same family (Rajiv) that initiated the process of liberalisation in the 1980's.

He is promoting left. Capitalisms means people who work hard, intelligently will get rewarded.
He is talking or people in america, if they do not complete schooling, if they just focus on spending for fun then they will suffer. Same here in India, schools are here for everyone, a lot go, a lot do not take it seriously. Those who take education seriously or their work seriously, they move forward, rest spend a ordinary life.

Ruchir has got a very good knowledge on global economy and his remarks on each country from the economic standpoint of view is fascinating.
    Few things to be digested
Southeast Asian countries are gaining the most from china plus one and not India.
India give more political freedom to people than economic freedom. Still India ranks 130 in economic freedom.
    Us dollar is down.
China could able to push reforms in such a way that they were able to lay lot of public sector employees to find their own way. India has a long way to go.
Federer system is going to help India in future.
No leader in the world won a election for more than 2 terms since fatigue sets in in the last 3 years.
    India cannot grow at 10%
Poland is becoming a developed country
    Vietnam is doing well
What I missed to see is he has not commented about bailing out of Indian psu banks by the government wherein 10 lacs crores of nps were written off in the last 10 years and same psu banks are hitting 52 week high in stock market

For several years on various platforms I have been predicting the ultimate demise of Euro currency. The reason is Euro block countries with disparage economies can not have a single currency. Ultimately Euro currency will disappear. Every country will revert to their old currency. But there is a fly in the ointment and that is Russia. In addition to Rouble, Russia may demand payment in Euros.

Can you answer a simple question? Can you address the elephant in the room? The world's broad money as a percentage of annual GDP has gone up from about 0.52 in 1960 to 1.5 now. That is a relative (not absolute) raise of 200%.
"The economy has grown over the years", is not the answer. It is monetarily measured GDP and broad money as its ratio.
Let me give an illustration. Imagine your blood pressure or blood glucose levels going up at a compounded rate of 1.5% per annum. You can only attribute it to the growth of your waistline. No, your muscle mass has not improved, nor has even your height.
Just imagine your BP going up from 120/80 to 360/240. What does that mean?
What are its implications for the world's economy?
No economist has answered this question.

Even if the anchor is a sanghi supporter, what has that got to do with the perspectives and the ground reality. Appeasement politics has dented the growth of our economy since the Independence, no thrust on development of the infrastructure. Whereas Modi government did exactly the opposite of the earlier governments. Gave importance for the development of the infrastructure which is necessary for the future of India.

Hate this economist. Firstly he is not an IIT-Engineer nor an Chartered Accountant. What understanding does he have of economics ? apart from working in Morgan Stanley (close to 25yrs) and now Rockefeller Capital, both jobs he got because of licking the Gandhis. In the video he gaves the example of Sunil Mittal, over of AirTel India and AirTel Africa. He claims ratio between both co is 1 - 1/4. Airtel India subscribers are over 8 times of all Airtel in Africa, even a waisted Aircraft Engineer can find fault.
Just before this video I was watching KV Subramaniam book show (India @100) on Outlook. He is a child of Railway Clerk, then IIT-Engineer, who finished his CA, then Chief Economist of India now working for IMF and an Director. Listen to KVS book instead of this ex-Congress Gandhi man. RS use to chase the Policitians along with Prannoy roy, Swaminathan A. Iyer (older brother of the crooked Mani S. Aiyer), crooked journalist Shekar Gupta who owns a farm in Delhi, during the elections in India with break of over 30-45 days to find out the govt winning.
You know why Rockefeller got him this job, to take care the loot money of the Gandhis !!!

    We all know it
    Just sharing.
We all know ALL politicians lie to get power.
We all know intellectuals are heavily biased too.
"All are obvious rascals" or limited.
We all know women ARE seen as less, and all men feel they can manipulate, use and abuse them.
We all know children are given zero inputs, though it is obviously SO simple to teach them properly.
(After all, we could teach a dead silicon to mimic intelligence usefully with AI. )
We all know Capitalism as such, liberty and trade, IS needed to literally survive in every way and woke is the dead end of Marxian aberrations.
We all know life is finite, there is no god in whose name we kill due to conditioned beliefs and stories.
We all know wars have NO historical reason, and we all really do not wish it.
(We do NOT go around doing that in our neighborhood.)
So, wars are an issue of power lust only.
So, these king like figures have never done and never will do any good. In fact, we know enough (or can learn) that we will not go to any heaven but unimaginable hell, in the near future.
We all know that all these things can be easily fixed, and we are all waiting for SOMEBODY to do that.
We decieve ourselves too that the Pansies of the World will do it. We fall for their "narrative" and get divided, while knowing, it IS a game in which "thry" will win, and "we" will be used. Yet, we do it.
We all know we must DO something, but we feel too small and feel, we cannot do anything.
And, hence, we all feel nothing will happen,
Because we all know nothing will happen, because we do not speak truth, even while knowing.
We know this too in a way.
We must speak the truth, all of us, in our capacity.
I wonder whether we know the power of that.
But somewhere we know that too.
We should speak the truth and
    Nothing else is really needed.
    Enough information is there today.
It is enough to speak the truth and be happy because speaking the truth keeps us happy too.
It was THE BEST advice given to me by a friend years back.
    "Care a damn"!
    Narendra

Hatred politics has never been there. It is in fact appeasement politics in disguise as welfare economics which has dented the growth of any country. Especially India the appeasement is going off track in many ways. I agree with Ruchir that the lesser the government intervention, the better. This is really factual when we consider the IT sector of India. Hate politics in fact is myth, a narrative well planned by the pseudo anti nationals.
