There must be things I haven't seen, but after 8,000 plus hours of playing Story Mode myself ... That's just a testament as to how ASTOUNDING RDR2 is and still is.
After a break of 18 months, I'm about to start another new game. My top tip is stay in Chapter 2 for a looooong time! Avoid anything that pushes the main story. Cover the map, hunt the skins, pick the flowers, do the side quests .. just enjo6 the game 😊

Don't rescue Micha, don't read the note from Mary and don't go see Thomas Downes. If you leave those three story missions they will be the only ones available and every camp member will be at Horseshoe Overlook except for Micha and Trelawny.

And what many players do not know is that that carbine repeater can be gotten in Chapter 1 immediately after Arthur and Javier rescue John using a rather simple glitch (no cheat code or mods). You don’t have to wait to the one Dutch gives Arthur in the Old Friends mission. It is the carbine repeater I prefer to have because of the “Jeremiah Johnson” allusion instead of the one Dutch provides.

You should take the gun. You do not lose the weapon that you drop, as it is always in your compendium.
Get the book, in which all the hidden items and events are described. You can get 100% more easily with the book.
