If it were smaller I wouldn't mind it, but it's so big. The other thing that could happen is that all of their bugs that live on the bottom should be able to extend leftward or rightward to allow for a hybrid bug and bottomline look where the bug comes on at 28 or 58
I don't know how others feel about this, but I think its time for the ticker to go. In this day and age I no longer have to wait for the ticker to come around to see how my team is doing. It would be one less thing cluttering my screen in this current onslaught of overlays, bugs, and obnoxious animations.
I meant it’s kinda true most ppl now got phones too look up scores and news faster now or call google/Siri what’s going on in the NFL or whatever. But I feel the ticker can be still be useful if your not around device but I do agree it shouldn’t be on during an entire game tho.
I miss that brief sound before what is now known as the ESPN app notification sound. Sometimes the little things matter
i havent heard the 2004 one since 2013 wow
From 2004 - 2013 is the one that made me the most happy to see. Such classic colors to what they have now

tbh, this is really interesting. i like when they showed sponsors from big companies like walmart
I Actually have that sound uploaded in high quality. Good times. Wish it was back on TV.
I miss the first 28 58 scoreboard update sound as well
8:23 of course the Bears got blown out.
Against a dominant Tampa bay defense ofc
I liked the 2014-17 one the best

@@rjspazz4617 yep like a instant thing like a trade or major upset alert but then again I hope ESPN could update its OS where it's more interactive
Hell no keep the ticker what if your devices are dead and needs to be charged? How else will you look up the scores?
I agree for the scores aspect, but for news nah the ticket still useful
The 28/58 ticker is not going anywhere at all.
2:15- Wayne Larrivee
I have been sick of the ticker. I want to see all of my screen while watching football. It removes about six inches from the bottom.
How large is your screen for the bottom line to take six inches off your display?
@@doq I have an 80 inch unit. I measured vertically and it is six inches. It blocks players at the bottom of the screen, I'm sick of it.
