Nadu gets more stupid every time you read it. It passes the vanilla test, has evasion, triggers more than once per turn, does so for every single creature you have, also triggers off abilities and not just spells, is not mythic rare, and has the lands enter the battlefield untapped (as shown at 28:14), not to mention it's in what seems to be exactly the right colours for this format. Getting two of them that late is crazy.
Path is really good. Breaker in an Eldrazi deck is a bomb, especially with Echoes. Careful about having 2 Echoes down with Mirror Box in play. Played a Forsaken Monument made a bunch of copies of it, tapped one colorless land and got a forced draw warning at the same time both our heads exploded
I mean, he literally mentions it as part of the card description. It's simply that he doesn't value it without getting value on the lower effects. It's a turn 7 draw 3 in his mind, and thats conditional. I am not saying I agree, mind you, but I follow the logic that there are games where it will do nothing and that will feel bad. 13:46
Hydroelectric Specimen is incredible in the right matchups, especially when you are playing the UG eldrazi deck, since it’s very hard to deal with the eldrazi for most decks they usually need to use single target removal and with the spawn it’s very easy to hold up as 1 island will do it, so the idea with that card is if you don’t need the land you just hold onto it and hold it up in case you need it. It obviously gets even better if you have Aether Spike or Unfathomable Truths. I used it to excellent effect in my first 7 win run. I highly recommend not underestimating it.
Huger Tide rises worked well for me. Cycled 7 cost eldrazi for stuff. Spank eldrazi spawns and the insects for a 5 or 7 cost card. Suprised some enemies.
Hunger tide rises is great with nesting ground. Just keep making chump blockers forever or bank em up for the big eldrazi. A little slow but still solid

Also, if you watched the gameplay, Kenji got absolutely ruined by a golgari adapt deck. So pretty much anything can be viable, but I do agree at least in the early going there seems to be a lot of people trying to force Eldrazi. But it's so fun to play, can you blame them? 😂

Don't forget Kozilek's Unsealing draws you three cards when you cast 7 drops.
This draft pod was insane. All the lanes were open... I'd have ended up in an abzan counters deck in this seat, but many lanes and options.
