Dom about your back. I noticed when you were digging the compost you were using your back. I’m no expert, but Google correct posture when digging, as I think you should be bending your knees more. Hope this helps. 😊❤
I love the look of this method - I'm going to try it on my allotment. My other plan for this weekend is inoculating an area with wine cap mushrooms. I was going to use straw for that too, under some wood chip. I need to go and find some straw!
It's, so super easy and my test bed looks like the results will be good! And super excited for you on the wine caps, let me know how that goes, as love to try some mushrooms! 🍄
@@TheWildlandsGarden I thought wine caps would be good as they're easy to identify! I grew them on my old allotment and they popped up all over the place!
No dig potatoes in straw is a proven method. Presume you're assuming and haven't tried it as we've had great success. No dig methods are often 'attacked' by traditionalists especially those that till or leave soil exposed. But year after year test beds by the likes of Charles Dowding yield much better results and higher yields from no dig vs digging/ ploughing.
Great idea. We're about to sow potatoes this weekend so perfect timing
Perfect! Let me know how they get on and happy potato plantings 🥔👌🍠😍
Thank you so much for the idea I'm going to try to do that myself great video
You are so welcome and do let me know how you get on and how many potatoes you get! 🥔🤔👀👌
Looking good!
Thank you! Cheers!

Yes, I saw that too! And I thought I was digging correctly but I'm not 😢

Obrigado! 🌱💚🌱🥔
Will be interesting to see how many you get.
Look forward to our harvest! :)
Are you growing potatoes?
@@TheWildlandsGarden Yes. I grow then in old feed bags and containers until we move.
Nice, Rosie has hers in old Compost bags, and they seem to be doing well 🥔🥔 hope you get a great crop
❤
Thanks hopes all going well in your garden?
That's the most ridiculous thing we've ever seen, the potatoes need to be covered with soil or they get green and poisonous

We just dug up these potatoes. Beautiful, very shallow much easier to get the potatoes out of the ground and no green ones. Give it a try! 😊
