The 2020 75th Annivesary coin is interetsing as the colour blue white green print appears in different positions for each coin, making it possible to have a full collection of this coin with a FULL PAINT ROTATION set of about 5 coins.
I just got a 2022 50c. So hopefully the old coins stay the same. I also got three bags of 5c coins and the whole lot where 2021, so it looks like that coin is going to get a higher montage. Love your streams. Your helping out heaps.
Low MOB 2021 $1 because of the high donation dollar mintage last year.Have been lucky enough to snag security rolls of nearly all you have shown.I will wait a few years to finalise the mintages and see which are the winners.Cheers PJ.
Hi PJ, I've just started fossicking and noodling for coins and watched a few of your videos. They are very informative and helpful. Just watched this one and am very excited to say i have a circulated 2020 75yr WWII $2 coin. Not a C mint though. 👍
Hi I change $300 of $1 coin today, I got almost $260 for $1 jc 2020 mob of Roos and some of $1 2022 jc with letters on it, is $1 2020 jc worth keeping them? Cos they look very shining.
WOO HOO!!.. I have two C marked 75th anniversary of WW2 carded coins!. (And two bags of the 201950c coins of each effigy!).. my short time in the scene is starting to reap benefits!!. as the 50c effigy set has gone up heaps since I purchased it also… thank you PJ… for all your guidance.
It's amazing how some states get all the good coins. I'm in SA and never seen a roos 2020 JC or 2021 JC $1 after noodling 21400 coins. Great refresher video. Off to ebay now to check values.
Its a fairly similar story for those 2 coins in Victoria. I think SA does miss out on a good portion of the newer coins. Vic through covid missed out on plenty also
G Day PJ. I just noodled $100 of 50c coins from bags. . A couple of upgrades , 1 x Eddie Marbo, 1 x 2019JC, 1 x 2022 and 58 x 2021 coins. 29% of all coins are 2021, I will only keep a couple of them and the rest are going back. I wont even look at them in future. The numbers will definitely go up. Cheers
Was given a honey bee in change 2022. Was lucky to find a 75 th Anniversary in coles self serve check out 2020. All came from the Western suburb of West Lakes in Adelaide.
Ive set up a list in the notes on my computer. It took a while but I bring it up every time I look at coins as well as the RAM list. It helps a lot and also helps with remembering . I can also go in and change things easy when listings change.
@@korrinabastion87 I did a similar thing a few years ago in paint but it's out of date and only had basic info for the Years that have Low mints and some with images of backs to lookout for but they lack images of non circulated coins. Be nice if the mint had them all in one place with the mintage...
Thanks PJ always GREAT advise and the Commonwealth Games Five coin pack is set to be released at Woolworths tomorrow before the opening of the games on Friday 29th July i hope the weather get a bit cooler by then butt shouldn't worry our Aussie STARS we LOVE the heat.
It's been a while since I've looked through a bunch of coins but even just in change I've come across alot of these coins atleast the coloured coins. I feel like I've seen 4 or 5 war anniversary ones up here in QLD so I doubt they will stay low I've also seen the handprint coin a few times. The coloured coins I've had no luck with have been the Aboriginal Flag and the Honeycomb one.
Like the 2021 10 cent at 1.25 million, is the rarest 10 cent circulation coin. Won't people really be after the 1995 10 cent lyrebird circulation type at 137000 to complete their sets. Then the 96, 86, 87, meaning the 21 one won't have much interest, especially for a circulated coin
Hi PJ. Recently subscribed. Best channel for Numismatics. Very professional and informative. I'm sometimes confused by the warm colour of coins on close up, giving appearance of our 1 and 2 dollar. Is this due to light source for camera?
Hey thanks Piero, I thinks its a combination of the lighting source that I am using and the zoom affecting the amount of light coming in to the camera.
hi i went to my local bank to get coins for search through i got $1oo of 10cent and $100 of 20Cents when i get home to search through the 10 cents are all 2021 security bags and the 20 cents are all 2022 security bags should i keep or deposit back to bank
Thank you for doing these videos they are very informative! I was lucky with my most recent noodle, I rarely get any 2019 50cent coins & today from 3 rolls I got a decent stack of the 2019 irb & JC coins. It will be interesting to see what the outcome for the $2 WW2 coins are too, Im hoping it'll be another lower mintage coin in my collection
My feeling is that the 50 cent 2021 is going to be huge, they are everywhere here in Sydney, sometimes 10% of rolls/bags. Haven’t found many of the $2 coins in your video in .circulation
I know your talking about J.C low mintages, But what about the IRB 2011 Ten cent coin that's low mintage 1.75M, I've only found one 2011, In 4 years noodleling, I have found lots of 2021 Indgenous Military Service $2, & Lots of 2020 75th yr End WWII $2, They are keeper's,Check out how much the 2017 Planetary Coins are worth now in the 31st Edition Renniks book pair to the 30th Edition Renniks book, Big difference, Love your work PJ good stuff.Jimmy.
Oh god, all of those except the 2021 MORs and 2021 10c are in plague proportions in Brisbane. I'm throwing back 2020 MoRs and IMS. Also finding plenty of 78th of WW2.
Any coin with a mint mark are worth more than a coin with no mint mark, and the only circulated coins worth real money are 2012 red poppy and the 2013 coronation all other circulated coin sell for under $20.
I live in Sweden but have family in Australia and heading over for a trip in August. Just found a woman in Stockholm selling 411 $2 coins. I'm very suspicious but her reasoning for not exchanging it herself is because the currency exchange office won't accept coins only bills. So she's now selling it very, very cheap. I'm an absolute novice when it comes to this but watched your clip about spotting fakes. Does anyone have any more tips on how to spot it or ideas of what kind of scheme she's running?
To be honest I think you would be safe to buy the $2 coins. There are very few fakes going around and the only ones I have ever found were from 1993 or 2003 I cant remember. It is true that currency exchanges do not accept coins.
@@PJsCoinCapers thank you so much! Went through about 50 of them on the spot and weighed piles of 10 at a time to double check. Only found 1 coin from 2003 and didn't notice any of the signs you pointed out in your clip. So I went ahead and bought it for an absolute steal. Gonna go through it all soon to see if there are any interesting years in the mix.
@@tommyjohansson4020 That's great Tommy, let me know how you go. Hope you enjoy your trip to Australia. I just booked a cruise in Northern Europe for next May so no doubt we will visit Stockholm.

Thanks for sharing mate.Great video as usual.
Do they not finalise mint numbers at the end of the said years then move onto the next year in January?
Hey pj I have a question is it true that there will be no 5 and 10 cent coins any more in the future and good video

Do you think mintages of 2018 coins are going to rise on the next annual report?
I don't think so.
Hi PJ. I’m confused about the mintage numbers increasing. Wouldn’t they be counted at production?
2020 $1 Qantas centenary in my collection, good nick?
Can you explain the c mint mark ?
Thank you paul
