That pepperoni pizza with honey chili sauce from Alpenglow Pizza looked and sounded delicious. I haven't been to Port Chilkoot's Distillery but I've heard good things. That was a nice lost detour to that beautiful beach in Haines. Best locally made smoked salmon is someone's house, haha. I don't have any. In Anchorage, people like Alaska Sausage and Seafood. It's pre-packaged, pricy, and good if you don't have your own salmon.
Haines was such a cool little town we’re so glad we could explore! Haha! Yes, about the smoked salmon from someone’s house. It sounds like we need to make some friends! 😂
@@AdventureOutThere Long story short; a fed bear is a dead bear. Very sad. I live here for the season as a photo guide. There were two of them that ran around together. A lot of people don't understand the importance of never feeding bears, or leaving food in anything other than bear proof containers while camping or visiting. Very cool you are on this adventure together. Haines is a special place.
@@karlakennedy8855 We definitely understand the importance of being bear aware where we’re from in Tahoe. So sad the same thing happened here. 😞 They are beautiful creatures in a beautiful place and we wish we could see more of them in their natural habitat. Thanks for sharing. All our best!
